    Hi there

In the Countries where my site is live (DE/CH/AT/FL) there is no AM PM, we use the 24-hours system. In the newest Version there might is a bug which throw them together.. see here:

If i save the start date for the ticket like this 2016-01-04 15:15 (am or pm has to be selected) it saves without an error message but turns the date back to 1970.

    Thanks for fixing that

    Hey @websource,

Sorry to hear about these issues! I just tested this on my local site and did not recreate the problem, so I’m curious about a few things:

    1. Can you share your “System Information” with us? Here’s how → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    2. How, specifically, did you set your site’s time format to be in 24-hour time? For example, did you go to Settings > General in your site’s wp-admin, and just change the “time format” there? Or are you using another method? Here’s the wp-admin setting I am referring to:

    Thank you!
    George

    Hi George

I just tried again and could replicate it. But first to the second point. Yes my Settings looks like this.
If i create an event and want to add tickets im able to set start dates and end dates for the ticketsale. There its mixed up.

    Can you replicate it?

    Thanks

Thank you for all of this information!

At this time, no, I still cannot replicate this issue at all – weird!

Unfortunately, at this time I think the best step would be for you to run through the complete set of troubleshooting steps here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

After each step in that process, go back to Settings > General in your wp-admin. Ensure your “time format” setting is still 24-hour time mode, and click “Save Changes”, even if you do not change anything.

Then, have another look at the issue in the ticket-creation form, and see if the issue persists.

If the behavior changes at all anywhere along the way, let us know!

    Thank you,
    George

    Dear George

Done. Nothing has changed at all. Problem still occurs.
Have you already take a look at my screenshot, just that we are talking about the same fields?

Event just with RSVP its the same.

    Thanks for responding.

Thank you for testing this, @websource! This is a very odd issue. I have indeed seen all of your screenshots here and have tried recreating this a number of times – I will continue to try doing so.

Do any errors pop up on your site if you head to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code:

    define('WP_DEBUG', false);

    to this:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

That will display PHP errors if any exist, which might be quite useful here.

    Hi George

Just to test this further.. May you control your settings if there are differences to mine?

    See: http://1drv.ms/1PKFPiE

I’ll test the php errors tomorrow. Thanks

    Hey @Websource,

Thanks for all of this information and for your patience with this! I am still not able to recreate this problem but I have found a bug ticket for this that some our other developers are working on, because some people have recreated this issue.

It’s a weird bug and so I unfortunately do not have an ETA on when a fix for it will arrive. However, we are working on it and this has indeed been confirmed as a bug.

I’m sorry that there is not better news at this time. Thank you for your patience!

    Sincerely,
    George

I’m really sorry for that inconvenience! This is a hard issue to pin down but we are actively working on it. Stay tuned to plugin updates and to http://theeventscalendar.com/blog – when there’s a new release, release notes are posted there and if there is something that addresses this specific problem it will be noted there.

I will close up this thread for now just to keep things organized, and because I do not have an ETA on when the bugfix will arise, so leaving this open for potentially several weeks is not a good thing. Stay tuned to the outlets mentioned above – thanks a ton for your patience with this!

    Sincerely,
    George
