ParticipantI’m sorry to hear this, Tyler!
To help me investigate further, can you post your site’s complete, un-edited System Information to this thread? Here is how to do that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
As for that error message, does it persist if you activate a default theme on your site like Twenty Twelve or Twenty Sixteen, etc?
Thanks,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThank you for updating and following-up here!
I’m sorry to hear that issues persist.
One thing that might be a factor is if the events on Facebook.com are being edited after being published. Do you know if is happening at all? Examples could be the changing of event times, venue, title, anything like that?
Thank you for your patience and persistence here!

ParticipantHey Gregg,
There are indeed other reports of similar problems; we are coordinating our approach and investigation, and part of that is trying to get as much information as possible about the issues.
For example, can you confirm:
1. Are the events that have the issues you describe above events you created BEFORE the recent 4.2.2.1 update of Events Calendar Pro?
2. If you create a NEW series of events, just for testing purposes, does this new series have the same problems as the existing ones that you describe?
3. If you do step #2 and the events DO have the same issues, then what if you deactivate ALL plugins except for only The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro; and then activate a default theme like Twenty Twelve, Twenty Sixteen, etc.; and then, in this state, try creating a new recurring event series. Does this series have all of the same problems as the existing series you described above?
Thank you for your patience and cooperation here; I totally get how frustrating these issues can be, and we are determined to get to the bottom of what is going on so that we can fix it.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantPatti, your input here is awesome and greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for chiming in.
John, I am glad to hear that you were able to make much progress here. I am sorry for the process here–nobody likes back-and-forths with a support team, so I get the frustrations for sure. I also had a delayed response time due to an urgent and unexpected outage earlier in the week, so I apologize for that too.
As Patti mentioned, I was curious about the behavior in default themes because that is a crucial starting point–so that’s why I started there, along with the System Information, just to get an understanding of your specific issues.
Just wanted to clarify some of the thinking behind my approach here, John. Thanks for your patience with us, and thank you Patti for weighing in with our own experiences.
Sincerely,
GeorgeJuly 14, 2016 at 4:47 pm in reply to: HELP _ Events Calendar Plug-in permanently disabled by our hosting company! #1140009George
ParticipantHey Kelly,
Thank you for reporting this. I am going to reach out to some developers on our team for assistance here; I am not able to reproduce issues like yours, nor able to fully diagnose these server-side issues accurately.
Thank you for your patience with these odd issues!
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantSorry for the trouble, Joe!
Glad to hear that things cleared up for now; open a new thread any time if other issues or questions arise. 😀
Best of luck with your site,

ParticipantHey @Jason,
Thanks for the update–I am glad to here that our temporary solutions work for now. Stay tuned to the forthcoming plugin updates for proper, actual in-code fixes to things.
Also, thanks for sharing your custom solution to the navigation problem! This is an interesting approach, and I can see this being a huge boon for saving a few clicks and page loads along the way of trying to access the attendees and such…I’ll pass this feedback along because we are aware of some of the difficulty in wading through the wp-admin structures to get to certain features. It’s something we can definitely improve.
Thank you!

ParticipantHey Kelly,
I’m really sorry for the trouble here.
Our response times are one reply per 24 hours, but I was unfortunately unable to uphold this standard this week due to an unexpected outage I had.
With this in mind, though, this morning I actually did post an update in your original thread -> https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/help-_-events-calendar-plug-in-permanently-disabled-by-our-hosting-company/
Maybe our notification email about the new reply failed to reach you? Sorry if so!
Please head over to that original thread of yours and follow up with the latest reply from us there.
We will continue the conversation and help you sort out these issues! 😀
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Gregg,
I apologize for the delayed response; we normally reply to threads at least once every 24 hours, but I had an urgent and unexpected outage and was unable to respond until today.
Sorry for the wait!
In regards to your issues, I’m sorry to hear the more oddness is persisting. I cannot reproduce the behavior you describe, so to help me investigate this a bit more, can you post your site’s complete, un-edited System Information to this thread? Here is how to do that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
I’ll take a look at that information and recommend further steps from there.
Thank you!

ParticipantHey @stratejusinc,
Thanks for your follow-up here. I totally understand the importance of this bug and am wondering about possible fixes, as the dequeue_script calls I shared before did not work on your site. It’s a bit tricky but we are still working on this; stay tuned!
Thank you for your patience,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey John,
I forgot to mention this, but I wanted to note that I also saw that you’re using version 4.2.1 of both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro.
Events Calendar Pro is now at version 4.2.2.1, and The Events Calendar at version 4.2.2. The Event Tickets plugin and Event Tickets Plus are also at 4.2.2 now.
I doubt the versions are a problem, per se, but it is worth ruling out as a possible culprit. Can you ensure that all of the plugins I mentioned above are up-to-date as I described above, too? After doing this, have a look at the photo view in the default theme of your choice (e.g. “Twenty Fifteen”), and share a screenshot of what you find in that theme after updating these plugins…
Thank you!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThanks for digging into this and sharing your findings, John.
I do not notice any order issues in a default theme like Twenty Fifteen, Twenty Twelve, etc.
Can you share a screenshot of as much of the photo view as possible on your site when the Twenty Fifteen theme is activated? I am just curious to see the exact ordering issues there.
In the meantime, I would recommend raising this issue with your theme developer as well, as this seems to be theme-related in addition to plugin-involved…
I will keep my eye on this thread for the screenshots of Twenty Fifteen’s order discrepancies, and we can continue digging from there.
Thank you!

ParticipantHey Folks,
So, there are two main things to report here:
The WooCommerce Errors
These errors may be arising because of an issue with the first batch of files uploaded to WordPress.org with the recent update. This was a weird problem that happened and was quickly fixed, but which does cause fatal errors in many cases. We fixed the issue very, very quickly on the day of the release, but your update might have grabbed the old and broken files instead before our fix was published. So, what I would recommend doing is the following:
- Back up your site and database. The following steps will NOT delete any event content or data, but backing things up before updating, installing, or removing ANY theme or plugin on your site is a good practice to get into, just in case…I strongly recommend that you do not proceed without a backup, but if you do, that is certainly up to you and, as noted, the following steps are NOT designed to delete event content or data.
- DELETE — not just deactivated, but DELETE — the existing version of The Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, and any other add-ons for it on your site.
- Download fresh copies of all of the plugins you just deleted. Get a fresh copy of The Events Calendar at http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar, and of premium add-ons at theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads
- Install these fresh copies of the plugins, activate them, and enter any license keys if need be.
After these steps, how do things behave?
The Tribe__Events__API Errors
These are emerging because of a bug we just identified in the Event Tickets code. To temporarily resolve this, install the free plugin “The Events Calendar” and activate it on your site. You do not need to use this plugin or have it publicly visible, or anything — it just needs to be active.
We are working on a fix and will publish it as soon as possible; after which time you can then delete The Events Calendar from your site if you would like to.
Let us know how things go! 😀
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Joe,
Thank you for the followup. So, based on your reply, these errors DO exist on the front-end and etc., and are pervasive on your site; not just in the error logs.
