ParticipantHey Christoph,
Thank you for this information.
Event Aggregator limits you to 100 imports per day. So if you are importing from 300 pages, that is a ton of imports!
The bug here on our end is that the “limit reached” post should only happen once. As Leah noted, we are working hard on fixing this. I will post an update as soon as we have more information and when an update will be available.
Sit tight, @Christoph! We’re working on a fix!

ParticipantHey @Nicole,
The discounts after the first year of the license can be as high as 30% — so if you bought a personal license at $89, after a year it may only cost $62 to renew.

ParticipantHey Kim,
“Additional Information” data is saved to the database.
As for your question:
Is there i solutions to export additional information to an ticket when order is on-hold? Also show it in the backend attendees list?
☝️ Can you please clarify what this means? I unfortunately don’t understand what you’re asking for here—I’m sorry! What do you mean by “export additional information to an ticket”, for example?
Just curious for more details here — thank you!

ParticipantHi folks,
Please consult this page to see what license holders can expect in terms of support → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
It states the following:
Please note that it may be 24-48 hours (during the week) before we respond to a post. Generally it’s significantly faster than that, but particularly during heavy support times we ask that you be patient.
As shown in this post, we’ve posted now more than twice in a 24-hour period despite high volume in the forums. I totally understand the frustration surrounding issues like these, and do appreciate your patience.
With that being said, what Leah noted above is important: we have confirmed a bug here where too many notices are being logged.
Our team is working hard on fixing this problem.
@Christoph, can you please share some details about your site’s volume of imports? Specifically:
1. How often are you running imports?
2. How many pages/sources are you importing from?Thank you!

ParticipantHey @4smartbiz,
How often do you see this error showing up? Has it only happened once? Or does it happen often?

ParticipantHey Jason,
Thanks for reaching out.
Just to set expectations honestly and early, we unfortunately cannot provide support for customizations, including support for custom code snippets. As evidenced by what we were able to put together in that thread you linked to, we certainly try to help folks if we can manage to produce a bit of custom code.
With this in mind, let’s return to your actual questions; it sounds like what you’re saying is that this snippet works fine for you in terms of generating all of the events of this year. So, e.g., it’ll generate all events of 2016 fine. But you want it to generate all events of 2017 instead.
☝️ Is this a correct summation of your goals? If not, how specifically is it not accurate?
With this clarification, I will try to modify the snippet for you.
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Anthony,
Sorry for the confusion here. As a license-holder of iCal Importer, you automatically have a free license for Event Aggregator in your account.
So you can ditch iCal Importer and use Event Aggregator if you’d like to. For information on how to do this — it’s easy! — check out this guide ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-aggregator/
As for what this means about iCal Importer, it means that it is no longer going to receive updates with new features. If there’s a major, major bug, or some important security hole found, then we will release an update to fix it; but all new development is indeed now happening with Event Aggregator only in its stead.
I hope this info helps — let me know if so, and if there is anything else I can try to help with! 😀

ParticipantHi Derek,
I understand your frustrations and agree with you that these features should be added to our importing. We are working on adding these fields to Event Aggregator imports; since the introduction of Event Aggregator, there is now new feature development on the “legacy” importer plugins, of which Facebook Importer is one.
Aggregator is a brand new product that was just launched, so there are certainly many improvements already on the horizon — adding these extra event fields is one such set of improvements.
These fields have not always existed on Facebook nor have they always existed in the API, so that is why they weren’t existent in the original versions of Facebook Importer.
Sorry to bear some of the not-ideal news here, @Derek. Please let me know what you think and if there are any other questions I can try to help with!

ParticipantHi Anders,
There is no progress on this bug to report on at this time. As mentioned above, several weeks is the best case scenario for quick bugs to get turned around.
We’re still working on even confirming and nailing down the behavior here, so there will not be a fix in the short term. I am sorry, Anders, but want to be honest so you can set your expectations.
I am sorry to bear this news. Please let me know if there are any other issues I can try to help with — if not, let me know!
