MemberDear Nathan,
I’m stoked that this was helpful to you.
As a follow-up answer, even if the core (free) plugin gets updated by accident, it is always possible to downgrade quite easily.
Furthermore, at any given point, that client can renew their license (usually renewals are discounted from the initial purchase price) to gain update access and additional support.Looking forward to you / your client joining our Community of awesome customers.
You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great week!

MemberGood evening,
I am glad you found the culprit! Kudos on that.
The good news is I am pretty sure we can find a way to make that snippet work AND enable you to edit your tickets without going to WooCommerce.
The first thing I would recommend trying is updating that snippet so that it matches this one: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-the-ticket-form/
As you can tell, there are a couple of differences in the way the function is declared. Hopefully that will suffice.
If not, please let me know so that we can take this to the next level. As per your second question, you are right, there seems to be an built-in filter in there that wipes the decimals when “,” is used as a separator.
I will ask Dev to see where that filter is located.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood afternoon Donovan,
Thank you for writing back.
After a bit of research, this proved to be way more involved to modify than I thought it would be.
The good news is that my colleague Nico came up with a great solution for this.Check it out: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/change-woocommerce-label-in-community-event-submission-form/#post-1103779
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The good news is that we are putting the final touches to this very feature as we are speaking.
It still needs to undergo testing (and possibly some adjustments as a result), but we are getting real close to a release.Stay tuned as we can’t wait to release this one as well!

MemberGood evening Nathan and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your question. However at the end of the first year does the plug-in continue to work like the PRO, with the week, photo views and recurring events etc. Or does it revert to the free version without those features?
The plugin will continue to work as expected, including all the Pro features.
However, you will no longer be able to upgrade the Pro plugin. As such, it’s highly recommended to not upgrade the free plugin as well (as they need to have “matching versions” to function properly).
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Jill and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The short answer to this question is yes. It is most likely possible to do exactly that.
Furthermore, I can totally see how that would be an awesome feature to have.Unfortunately, at this point this option is not built-in.
The good news is that this it in our plans.I recommend voting for it here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/5486386-tickets-attached-to-emails-as-pdfs
In the meantime, you could accomplish that via template customization.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works. As an alternative, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Kind regards,
Geoff B.

August 8, 2016 at 11:19 pm in reply to: Only importing all-day events from Google Calendar (v 4.5.3) #1149303Geoff B.
MemberHi again John,
I am actually not able to reproduce that.
I successfully imported first day of school, kindergarden orientation, etc…
Furthermore, I see the same events on your calendar as well.
Could you perhaps provide me with specific examples of such events as well as a public link to the actual Google Calendar (not the subscribe link) ?
Kind regards,
Geoff B.
August 8, 2016 at 11:14 pm in reply to: Recurring ALL-DAY events from Google Calendar via iCal importer #1149302Geoff B.
MemberGood evening John,
Thank you for all of the info. It allowed me to reproduce the issue.
It seems like the cause is literally within the Google Calendar entry.
Check out the following abbreviated version of an all-day event:BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20160816
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20160817
RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;UNTIL=20170606;BYDAY=TU
SUMMARY:Early Dismissal (1:36pm)
END:VEVENTHere’s another abbreviated version but of a non all-day event
BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTART:20160810T160000Z
DTEND:20160810T170000Z
SUMMARY:Kindergarten Orientation
END:VEVENTThe main difference between the 2 is the lack of start and end time in the all-day event.
Adding a start and end time on all-day events seems to solve things on my end.Would you mind giving this a try on your end ?
Best regards,

August 8, 2016 at 7:56 pm in reply to: Issue editting Event Ticket (Events Tickets Plus) with DIVI theme installed #1149286Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Martin,
Thank you for the files.
That allowed me to run some tests. Here are my results:
- With your Divi Child theme I was able to reproduce the issue
- With your Divi Child theme and the the Events Calendar customizations, but an almost empty functions.php, the issue was gone. But only with new tickets. Existing tickets that were created with your full functions.php activated were not possible to save.
So in other words, it seems like something in your child theme’s functions.php is “corrupting” the ticket creation process (not sure what exactly). But at least we are closer to the issue.
The next step would be to examine each entry in that file (removing it) and testing a new ticket until you find the actual culprit.
I realize this is time consuming, but it is most definitely worth it.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
