Good morning Dorothy and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the message still being there.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I would recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/

This should allow you to disconnect and reconnect your license key.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good morning Natasha,

    Thank you for the file.

I see what you mean. So you replaced tribe_get_mobile_breakpoint() by “5000”.

    I’ll update dev on this.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good morning Patrick,

I am sorry this did not work for you.

I am not sure what “The Events Calendar: Group Events” is (and it’s definitely not showing a version number). In any case, I would deactivate and delete that plugin in favour of our “the Events Calendar: Community Events” from: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good morning Wim,

Thank you for writing back and for the screenshots.

I tried visiting your website. Unfortunately, I received a “Error establishing database connection” message. You might want to look at that: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-error-establishing-a-database-connection-in-wordpress/

As suggested earlier, I suggest you try re-saving your permalink:

    1. Go to Settings > Permalinks
    2. Don’t change anything and click on “Save changes”

If that does not work, could I get a screenshot of your settings under Events -> Settings -> General ?

    Hang in there!

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good morning Neil,

Based on this I have a couple of recommendations for you:

    1. Can you trying emptying your browser’s caching ? Or even try another browser to see if that helps
    2. Make sure you are signed-in your account before attempting the previously sent URL (removed to hide your license key).

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Hey Michael,

That is fantastic! Thank you for sharing.

    As per your remaining questions:

1- from the attendees page, if i click the “email” button, I get a pop-up that just loads the homepage of the site. In the admin section, this same button pops up a dialogue box to email the attendee list to a user or email address. Should the same thing happen on the front end?

This is a glitch that you can workaround.
This happens because of the Block access to WordPress dashboard under Events -> Settings -> Community

For now you need to unblock the organizer/subscriber role for things to work.

The good news is that has been identified by other users as a legitimate bug.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.

2- how do I email the attendees? My client wants the event owner to be able to email all the attendees from the front end in case of things like cancellations or venue changes or anything really. Is there a way to do this?

The Email button would be the way to go (or exporting the attendee list and sending the email “manually” elsewhere.

these pages, the “my events page” and the “attendees” page look kind of lousy on mobile. I’m not sure if thats a TEC issue or a Jupiter issue tho….

You are right, the CSS could definitely use some work here. I will do a few tests and get back to you on this one.

    Have a good week-end,

    Good evening Rob,

    Thank you for writing back.

I took a quick look at our Pro translations and it seems like Spanish from Mexico is not in there for some reason:

If you are interested, you can always contribute to our translations.
In the meantime, I have copied the Spanish from Spain file and renamed it “Mexico” so that it can serve as a starting point: mexico

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Patrick,

I just took a look at your Community Events license. Currently it should work with your Community Events license as it is no longer associated to any domain.

You can find the proper license number for Community Events here (different than Pro): https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/

    Good evening Ed,

The simplest solution is the CSS one. You can paste the code:

    1. In your WordPress theme or child theme style.css file
    2. In the custom CSS box of your theme options (if there is such a thing in your theme)
    3. Using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/

If you prefer the more complicated solution, you need to:

    1. Grab a copy of /event-tickets-plus 3/src/views/wootickets/tickets.php
    2. Remove the code for the span that contains tribe-tickets-remaining
    3. Create a /tribe-events/ folder in your theme (or even better, in your child theme)
    4. upload them to the appropriate folder. In your case, that would be /tribe-events/wootickets/tickets.php

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Wim and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the recurring event not appearing where you are expecting them.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Would it be possible for you to send me a specific example, so that I can see it “in action”. A URL would be great and perhaps a screenshot ?

Secondly, I would recommend trying  to re-save your permalinks.

Finally, if that does not work, you can always downgrade your plugins: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good evening Dietmar and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us and for bringing this to our attention.

You are absolutely right, this is a good catch!

I will open a ticket so that this gets corrected. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.

    Have a good week-end,

Good evening Nicolas and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the featured image of your calendar not being even.
I would love to help you with this topic.

However, to be able to do that, I would need 2 things.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Secondly, I cannot take a look at your calendar currently, since it requires login credentials. Would it be possible to gain temporary front-end access ?

    Have a good week-end,

Good evening Benjamin and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are experimenting with your licenses.
I would love to help you with this topic.

From what I can see, you should still have 1 license left for Pro and for Event Tickets Plus.

When you experience challenges like that, my best recommendation is to temporarily unlink your license key and re-link it: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Hello again Victor,

I’m super stoked that we managed to tackle of your issues.

As per your last question, the 2 recommendations above still apply for solutions to that translation.

Additionally, if you go for option 2, you might want to make sure that the Romanian language file is up to date. Either by:

    1. Updating your .po file catalog using the .pot file found in the lang folder with the Poedit free software
    2. Downloading the very latest Romanian version of the language files here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects

    Have a good week-end,

Good evening Venkat and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing while setting up a ticket page.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Good news! You are doing everything perfectly.

The reason why the ticket is not showing up yet is because the start date for the ticket has not been reached yet (2016-10-15 8:00am).

You can try removing the date if you want to test it out. Or, you can simply wait until 8am today 🙂

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
