MemberGood afternoon Jeremy,
Thank you for writing back and for trying out my suggestions.
I am sorry to hear that saving your setting has no effect. That could be because:
- Your theme prevents it (I have seen this in some themes) that integrate our plugin
- There is a conflict preventing it.
Either way, here is some CSS to target the main calendar page.
.post-type-archive-tribe_events #tribe-events {
background-color: #fff;
}It would totally be worth investigating why you can’t change the settings in my opinion. That would provide you with so much more flexibility when it comes to the look and feel.
By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
To do that, you could <u>go through our testing for conflicts procedure</u> (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Have a good week-end,

MemberGood afternoon Thomas,
I totally see your point, especially for somebody like you that works in a high data integrity environment.
As you might know, currently the only thing we offer built-in are the buttons that can merge duplicate venues and organizers. Based on your requirements however, this does not meet your needs at all.
As suggested earlier, you might want to use our User voice forum so that this can be improved on as a feature request.
In the meantime, I believe your work might be simplified by creating a custom MySQL script that you could run when you are moderating new events. The goal of the script would be to produce a list of any potential duplicates and perhaps which event they are attached to.
Have a good week-end,

MemberGood evening Sally,
You are absolutely right. My bad.
Here is an updated version of the details.php file which should fix that: details
Let me know how that goes.

MemberHey Oliver, that is a great question.
We have been working hard at improving all our translation related matters over the last couple of months. It’s been quite the journey so far and we did make some pretty good progress which we can build on moving forward. But, we have met some unexpected challenges along the way.
Currently we are working on making sure that the language files packaged with the plugins are in Sync with Glotpress.
Once that is done we should be able to give your request the attention it truly deserves.
Thank you for your incredible patience as we try to solidify and simplify translation related requests.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Rob,
Thank you for the screenshot. I can totally see what you mean.
You are right, the tickets do not look great in that specific context (with your WordPress theme CSS rules on a small mobile phone).
However, please note that there are already several responsive rules in place for the tickets built-in our plugin.
I am not quite sure which WordPress theme you are using, but I know for a fact that a few simple CSS rules should fix this for you.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

MemberGood evening Adrian,
I am very sorry to hear that.
Can you tell me if the ticket creation issue is for both new events and existing events ?
By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
- Permalinks needing to be re-saved
The next step would be to <u>go through our testing for conflicts procedure</u> (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Another solution would be to temporarily downgrade your plugins back to their previous version until we figure out what is going on: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
Let me know how that goes.

MemberHi Brian,
You are correct. We did fix many things and the strings are available for translation in the packaged files.
The current challenge is that they do not reflect the files found here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects
I will mark this as “Pending fix” as per your request.
Best Regards,
Geoff B.
