    Good afternoon James,

    Sorry for the delay in replying.
    Somehow this thread was marked “waiting for user feedback” which meant it did not received the attention it deserved.

    Let me inquire about an alternate solution for you (since this one seems to be broken) and get back to you shortly.

    Hang in there!

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good morning Jairo and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    You are right. By default whenever one of the Event Tickets plugins is installed it “takes over” the cost field.

    The good news is that I believe you can bring it back with the following snippet: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/69f8a033fb614c78b3de45a197431135

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning Bobby,

    This is awesome progress!

    Let me check that last part for you with our Dev Ninja to see if he has any ideas on this.

    Hang in there as I do that for you.

    Have a great day!

    Hey Donna,

    Thank you for writing back.

    You are right, you currently have Event Tickets Plus, but you would need the Events Calendar Pro: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/ to accomplish what you are looking for.

    When you do get it, you simply need to paste the shortcode in a text area or use a widget area (depending on your preference).

    I have been trying to figure out whether the pro version or the community version was best for us.

    That is a great question. Both offer very different features. Community Events’ focus is to allow your website’s users to post events, whereas the Events Calendar Pro offers shortcodes, new views, recurring events, etc…

    The good news is that they both work great together 🙂

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hey Susan,

    Thank you for writing back.

    That is a great question.
    You might want to ask one of the customizers from this list: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

    I am saying this because we typically do not take such customization work ourselves.
    That being said, I do not believe this is a big job.

    Have a great day!

    Hey Kristian,

    I am glad to see we are making progress.

    I would like to offer the following to complete this effort.

    Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

    Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
    This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

    I would also need a copy of your customized language files (po and mo)

    That way, I should be able to reproduce your setup and run a few extra tests.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Jukka and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the translations not being accurate on your site.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    Secondly, sometimes, there are indeed issues with the translations packaged with plugin updates (po files). When that is the case, you can always head over here to find the most updated and complete files: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects

    You can then simply overwrite the ones found in the /lang/ folder of our plugins or better yet put them in /wp-content/languages/plugins/ so that they do not get updated when you upgrade the plugin.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Stefano,

    That is a great question.

    We typically do not take on customizations ourselves (we have a project minimum of $35 K USD).
    I would recommend checking our list of customizers to get a quote: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

    Have a great day!

    Good afternoon Jennifer and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the recurring event’s strange behaviour on your site.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1. A conflict with another plugin
    2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
    3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

    A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

    The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

    Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

    But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

    The reason I am bringing this up is because I tried to test your exact event rules and it worked like a charm.

    So I guess we just need to figure out why things are not going smoothly on your specific install.

    Hang in there and let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Carsten and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

    Thank you for your interest in our products.
    We’ll be glad to answer your question.

    Is there a Workaround to use the Multisite Licence, but deactivating the Plugin for specific sites?

    I believe you will find all of your answers here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/

    Let me know if that helps.

    Hey Michael,

    Actually, I had to make a quick adjustment to the CSS after my initial reply.
    Could you try the following updated code. Please overwrite the previous code completely:

    @media screen and (max-width: 768px) {
    #tribe-events-content.tribe-events-single {
    padding: 8px !important;
    }
    }

    You also might need to empty all of your cache (web browser and cache plugin if any) for this to work.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
