MemberGood afternoon Mark and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your question.I am hoping to use your plugin on client’s website, however the /Events/ page does not seem to be loading correctly at all, almost like all the formatting has gone and it is just showing text instead?
There are 2 things I would recommend to fix this:
- Please make sure that there is actually not a “real” page called “events” (with the /events/ slug). The reason for this is that the calendar is not a real page, but it still needs exclusivity over the /events/ slug.
- Head over to Events -> Settings -> Display and try different setting for the Events Template option.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Scott and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the display being unaligned on your website.
I would love to help you with this topic.I took a look at it and I believe the issue stems from some rebellious CSS rules.
Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
#tribe-events-pg-template {
max-width: 1200px !important;
}Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic. Is there a simple way to fix this?
Absolutely.
Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.type-tribe_events {
border-bottom: none;
}Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Mats,
Sorry about that, I got overly excited when I fixed the other issue that I got sidetracked.
I believe the second issue is caused by one of the Swedish language files. Most likely, there is one of them that is not up to date.
As you might know, these files are located (in order of priority) in:
- /wp-content/languages/ or /wp-content/languages/plugins/
- /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/ and /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/lang/
Would it be possible to send me the language files sent in all these locations in a .zip file so that I can take a look at them (via a Dropbox or Google Drive link)?
As alternative, after a backup of these files, you could simply replace them with the latest version of the Swedish language files found here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Gurpreet and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the margins disappearing on you. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. To solve this I would recommend experimenting with the 2 first settings found under Events -> Settings -> Display. I believe that should allow you to get a better display for your calendar.
And, what is the Event aggregator license code? I have a license for Events Calendar Pro but it’s not automatically updating — I had to deactivate it in order for the update to show.
Event Aggregator is a premium service we offer for people interested in importing events automatically (via Google Calendar, Facebook, meetup, etc..): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
You can simply leave this setting blank if you do not have a license for it.
As for the lack of update notice, I will report this to our Dev. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.I probably need to upgrade to events calendar pro. Is it possible to do that, or do I have to pay for a new license completely?
The Events Calendar Pro being a completely separate product from Event Aggregator, yes, you will simply need to purchase a license for it and you should be good to go.
On a related note, we also offer bundles to our customers: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Sarah,
Thank you for writing back.
I have not been able to find a matching license for that domain name unfortunately.
It’s hard to say without knowing more, but it is quite possible that your developer bought the license under their name. Technically, since it is their license, they might choose not to hand it over to you.
Because of that, it is probably simpler to get a new license tied to the info(at)thinkreliability.com email address.
Since you are an existing customer with an unfortunate situation, we would like to offer that new license to you at the price of a renewal.
Simply use the contact form found here to reach out to us over email and get a coupon code via email: https://theeventscalendar.com/contact/
Make sure you reference this ticket in your request.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

MemberGood evening Edward,
Thank you for writing back.
As you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, if you try the Post Masonry Grid, you can see how you can switch from “posts” to “tribe_events” (one at a time).
To customize the query, according to Visual Composer’s documentation, you need to follow WordPress Codex’s guidelines.
I would recommend asking them for more information on how their tool works.
But I am pretty sure that it is a very viable workaround for your specific situation. If coding is really not your thing and you can’t get help from these guys, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Best of luck and let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Jonathan and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the titles not displaying as they used to with the latest updates.
I would love to help you with this topic.Speaking of updates, I would encourage you to upgrade to the latest version of our plugins (we just issued a maintenance release earlier today).
But back to your issue.
As you know Avada has quite a few built-in customizations for our plugins (which is awesome). But that also means, that we sometimes might have to undo some of these changes to get the desired result.
I just tested things out with the latest vanilla version of Avada and the good news is that the titles display perfectly.
As a quick test, I would recommend temporarily reverting back to the basic Avada theme (and not your child theme) to see what happens.
Additionally, also while using the basic theme could you experiment with different settings for Events template under Events -> Settings -> Display and see if that changes the display ?
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.1. Do you have any non-profit discounts for the Events Calendar PRO?
The short answer is yes. You can read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/
2. Is there any easy way to migrate the info in our Google Calendar over to Event Calendar PRO?
Absolutely, the easiest way to do that is through our awesome Event Aggregator service: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
Let me know if that helps.
