MemberGood evening Amy and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch in the Community Events plugin.
We are actively working on a fix for this.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point, but you will be contacted as soon as there is one.
In the meantime, it is not a great workaround, but some of our customers appreciate using the following snippet in their theme’s functions.php https://gist.github.com/elimn/4cbdbf600e4d25842a824147b2e56e5e
What this snippet does is to ignore the settings and always display Google Maps (if any).
Thank you for your patience as we see this through.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about “1” being displayed next to your cities on your home page.
I would love to help you with this topic.A closer look revealed that this is the tribe-events-region.
I am not sure how it got there exactly, but try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:.tribe-mini-calendar-event .tribe-events-location .tribe-events-region {display: none !important;}Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Kelsey and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing a similar issue.
I would love to help you with this topic. The next step would be to identify which part(s) of your template override needs fixing.
File by file (in your /tribe-events/ folder), you should compare your customizations with the files as they are today in the plugin.
One quick way to pinpoint the culprit(s) is to use the same approach as with the z_tribe-events, but with each individual file.
Since your customizations were done a while back, there is likely to be a lot of differences.
It is not a fun process, but it’s the best way to identify where the issue is coming from.
Additionally, you might want to turn wp_debug on or use the wp debug bar to assist you in this process.
Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
If coding is not really your thing or this is out of your depth, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the comments not working on your install.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, there was indeed an issue with Comments while the Community Events plugin was installed. But, this has been addressed and fixed in the latest plugin update.
Hang in there as we look at this together.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have faced while trying to update your plugins.
I would love to help you with this topic.I am not sure why the update notices are not showing up on your site.
But, yes, you should absolutely update both of these plugins to insure proper behaviour of our plugins. Here is how to do it:
- Do a complete Database backup to be safe.
- Deactivate and delete both the Events Calendar Pro and Filter Bar
- Grab the latest version of these plugins here: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
- Install the zip files using the Plugins > Add New interface
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Josianne and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the tickets not displaying on your event page. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.Would it be possible to get a screenshot of your Edit event page, including the Edit Ticket screen ?
There are typically 2 reasons why a ticket does not appear:
- The start sale date of the ticket has not been met yet (under “Edit ticket”)
- Something in your WordPress theme is preventing the cart from appearing
Hang in there!

MemberGood afternoon Ilkka and welcome back!
This is a great question.
The short answer is that the only limitation is what your server is able to handle. In other words, the ability of performing queries successfully will depend on:
- The type of hosting plan you have (shared vs VPS vs dedicated)
- Your server settings and features(php version, Database size, execution time, memory limits, etc..)
- The amount of traffic on your server at the time of the import
So the short answer is that normally these numbers should be fine provided your server can handle it.
With that in mind, you absolutely have the right idea. If it looks like the import results are fishy, you might want to break the import down in several smaller imports.

MemberGood afternoon Camilla,
That is a great question.
To modify this file (which again is only a temporary solution until the Avada team can take a look at this), you will need:
- To use a FTP client to connect to your server
- If you are uncomfortable with that, you might prefer using the file manager in your Cpanel
Stefan, I have made the previous answer public.

I am super stoked that this helped out.
Kate, Phil is 100% correct. To get recurring events support, you will need to grab a copy of the Events Calendar Pro as well: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/

MemberGood afternoon Kim,
I am glad my link was useful to you.
Best of luck with your customizations!
As a side note, you can always make feature recommendations here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/search?filter=ideas&query=shortcodeThis allows other customers to vote for them. In turn, our most popular features usually end up being integrated in our plugins.

MemberGood evening Julian,
Thank for these extra details.
I am sorry to hear your efforts were not more fruitful.I believe what might have happened is that something went wrong during the creation of recurring events (which matches a bug we had around the version you are using).
At this point, short of upgrading, the only true other options are:
- Delete all events completely and try to recreate them from scratch (not ideal to say the least), but that might be worth a shot as a last resort.
- Using my previous suggestion of creating things from scratch in a fully upgraded environment
- Run searches on all the tables of your Database using only the id (i.e.: 1443 – to be repeated for all 404 pages “id”).
I did just that and somehow bumped into what appears to be traces of a multilingual plugin (perhaps this is related)
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Hang in there and let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
