ParticipantI’m getting this error message:
The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 4.2.2.1, The Events Calendar: Filter Bar 4.2.1. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version
But there are no update links on either plugin.

ParticipantI tried to update and got this message –
An error occurred while updating The Events Calendar PRO: Update package not available.February 8, 2017 at 11:42 am #1231554Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Katherine and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have faced while trying to update your plugins.
I would love to help you with this topic.I am not sure why the update notices are not showing up on your site.
But, yes, you should absolutely update both of these plugins to insure proper behaviour of our plugins. Here is how to do it:
- Do a complete Database backup to be safe.
- Deactivate and delete both the Events Calendar Pro and Filter Bar
- Grab the latest version of these plugins here: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
- Install the zip files using the Plugins > Add New interface
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantWhat about all the current entries? Would they be deleted?

ParticipantCan you confirm my entries will be saved if I purge the plugins and replace?

MemberGood afternoon Katherine,
Thank you for writing back.
I would still advise a database backup (to be extra safe), but the short answer is no.Deleting our plugins does not delete current entries.
Let me know how that goes.

ParticipantI did what you recommended, but now I’m getting this message:
It looks like you’re using The Events Calendar PRO and The Events Calendar: Filter Bar, but the license keys you supplied do not appear to be valid or are missing. Please review and fix so that you can always have access to our latest versions!
When I capture the License Keys from my admin there are exactly the same as what’s already in the WP admin field. Both plugins are active through May. HELP!!

MemberGood evening Katherine,
Thank you for writing back.
Just to be extra sure, you should now have the following versions:- the Events Calendar 4.4.2
- the Events Calendar Pro 4.4.2
- Filter Bar 4.4
Can you confirm ?
If that is not the case, you will need to update to the latest versions.
If that is the case, you might have to disconnect and reconnect the licenses following these instructions: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
