    Good evening Brian and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch.
    We are actively working on a fix for this.

    Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point.

    But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.

    In the meantime, as a workaround, our customer are welcome to downgrade to

    • Event Tickets 4.3.5
    • Event Tickets Plus 4.3.5

    Thank you for your patience as we see this through.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Donald and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    The first thing to do would be to read the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/exporting-events/

    If you right-click on the “Export events” button you should be able to get an .ics link.
    In turn, you can simply use that link in our Event Aggregator importer.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Pim and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    As you have already found out, there is currently no support for separate tickets using recurring events.

    The good news is that we are working on that feature in the hopes of releasing it later this year.

    In the meantime, there are indeed a few workarounds. Hopefully one of them will work for you:

    1. You can create the recurring events and then break each event from the series. When you do that, each of these events becomes an individual event. At that point, you can assign different tickets to them
    2. You can create multiple tickets (one for each event in the series) and then hide them to your liking using CSS rules for each event in the series OR by using different start and end sale dates.
    3. You can provide manual links to different ticket pages using the Events Calendar Pro additional fields.

    Of course, none of these are perfect, but some of our customers have found these tactics useful.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Kevin and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

    Thank you for your interest in our products.
    We’ll be glad to answer your question.

    The display font is huge. How do I reduce that?

    The answer is with a simple CSS rule.

    Chances are your WordPress theme has rules impacting the display.
    If you could send me the URL to your site, I could point you in the right direction.

    In the meantime, you could also try playing with the settings under Events -> Settings -> Display to see if that helps.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Darnell and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the 404 error messages you are receiving.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Simply put, I believe the issue lies in the Permalinks setting in your wp-admin.

    For things to runs smoothly (and for your SEO to be much nicer down the road), use of pretty permalinks is required: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/permalinks-best-practices/

    Let me know if that helps.
    If not, would it be possible to get the URL to a sample event where I could run some tests ?

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Steve and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    With that in mind, I believe the fastest thing would be for me to take a look at your website.

    Would it possible to provide me with temporary credentials (in a private reply) so that I can do that ?

    Currently, the page seems to be protected by a coming soon plugin.

    Good evening Krystyna and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the huge font in the sidebar. Yikes!
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Chances are there is simply a CSS rule in your theme that is “interfering”.

    The simplest thing would be for me to take a look at your test website (as I understand this is not the live site).

    I already gave the URL a shot, but that does not seem to work.
    Would it be possible to provide me with temporary credentials (in a private reply) so that I can see the actual site ?

    If not, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

    Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
    This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Mark and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    The good news is that this is actually normal.
    The “category” slug was not meant to work standalone.

    Perhaps you could redirect that URL using a redirection plugin (to a page containing the list of event categories for example.

    I Hope this reassures you.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Good evening Scott and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

    Thank you for your interest in our products.
    We’ll be glad to answer your question.

    How can I let users see who has RSVPed to an event.

    The simplest way would be to purchase our Event Tickets Plus premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/

    This add-on provides you with many additional features, one of them being the ability to display attendee lists if you want to.

    You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-tickets/

    Let me know if that helps.

    Good evening Christiane and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with the menu on your site.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    With that in mind, could you expand a bit on what you mean when you say that the menu is not working:

    1. Which menu ? the Events Calendar menu ? The WordPress menu ?
    2. Could you send me a screenshot of the issue ?

    By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1. A conflict with another plugin
    2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
    3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

    A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

    The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

    Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

    But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Terry and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the categories no longer being visible after the update.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    With that in mind, I went on your website. And, from what I can see, the categories are there: http://www.hessel.org/events/

    Perhaps, it was simply a matter of refreshing the cache ?

    Can you confirm ?

    Good evening Kelly,

    Thank you for writing back and for the credentials.

    I can’t really speak for myeventOn, as you can imagine.
    But I would absolutely love to help you get closer to your goal while using our plugin.

    Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image {
    border: 0px !important;
    width: 30%;
    }

    .events-list .tribe-events-loop .tribe-events-event-meta {
    font-size: 16px !important;
    }

    Let me know if that helps.

    Good evening Jordan,

    I am glad this is working well for you.

    Normally, if the page shortcode contained a category filter, so will the next month links.

    With that in mind, I went on your site and tested it out.
    It looks like clicking on the March link returns the following URL: https://www.atonementfriars.org/test/?tribe_events_cat=benefactor-appreciation-days&tribe-bar-date=2017-03

    In other words, it does look like the filter is working.

    Can you confirm that this is the case for you too ?

    Good evening Michelle,

    Thank you for your answer.

    Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .tribe-tickets-rsvp .tribe-ticket.quantity input.tribe-ticket-quantity {
    background-color: #cc0033;
    color: white;
    }

    Let me know if that helps.
