MemberBonsoir Thierry,
Bon week-end,

MemberGood evening Bradley,
Thank you for writing back.
Unfortunately I’m not at a point where I can spend the $90 on it, or else I would. Is there no possible way that you know of to put the calendar under that section?
The other way would involve creating your own custom page templates with the exact structure you want.
It is a bit more involved, but it is feasible: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/
Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
Finally, another option that does not offer all the views is: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-shortcode/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Maxime and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. Before we begin, please know that we actually do not officially support Qtranslate X compatibility.
We do however support WPML for the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
That being said, a lot of our customers have successfully been using our plugins with Polylang (which is also not supported officially at the moment).
I placed translation files in wp-content/languages/plugins/ but the bug is still there.
When translation file strings are not kicking in, it is usually caused by one of the following things:
- Your translation files are not up to date
- You are using some customized translation files that have been placed in the /wp-content/languages/ or /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder. These might not be updated and will override any other file.
- The strings are translated, but are considered “fuzzy”
In the first 2 cases, the solution is to update your translation files using the pot file. You can do this by using the Poedit software and heading to Catalog > Update from pot file.
In the last case, you will need to make them “unfuzzy” using Poedit.
In your specific case I am not sure exactly how QtranslateX handles priority. But I can tell you that the top priority normally goes to /wp-content/languages/plugins/
One quick test you could run would be to delete the top priority language files temporarily.
But you are probably better off trying to identify how QtranslateX sets priorities in my humble opinion.Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Jaiden,
Thank you for writing back.
I am super glad this was helpful to you. Kudos!
how can we move this section to just below the ticket Info and above the map
You can adjust the position of the form using the Location of Tickets form the settings under Events -> Settings -> Tickets
“One more thing how can we still show add to cart Before start date for pre booking”
Well that is totally up to you.
Most of our customers leave the start sale date field blank to make sure the tickets are available immediately. The tickets will also disappear once the event is passed.
Another thing you could do is to use 2 types of tickets:
- Pre-Sales with no start sale date and an end saledate that matches the start sale date of the “regular tickets”
- Regular ticket with a start sale date of your choice and no end sale date
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Chris,
I am super stoked that this worked for you.
Thank you for the valuable feedback. I just passed the suggestion along to our documentation team to link https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-customizer/ in https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-fonts-and-colours/ and vice-versa.

MemberGood afternoon Richard,
Thank you for writing back.
My only concern with the duplicate-tec-event plugin – which I have tried out – is that it isn’t tested with the latest vsn of WP and hasn’t had any work done for over a year.
I totally understand. That being said, nothing has changed in a long time when it comes down to duplicating custom post types.
This is why there are no recent updates for this plugin.
Additionally, as stated before, there are several custom post type duplicators out there.
Perhaps, you will prefer the following one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-duplicator/You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.

MemberGood evening Greg and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.First, I do not like how to contact you. I don’t want to wade through self-help, when that’s not what will solve the problem.
We are sorry you feel that way and most importantly that your experience has not been smooth so far. Please note this was not our intent.
Our premium support is offered solely via forums, not email or phone at this point unfortunately.
The idea being to be able to keep the costs of our premium plugins as low as possible while also providing an awesome knowledge base available to our customers.
The good news is that we have an extensive track record of successfully helping people using forums. Hopefully you will have a similar experience.
Second, why is there an asterisk here for “Name” but nothing telling me what the asterisk means? I must provide a name? Just a first name? What?
I am not sure to what field or screen you are referring to. The purchase process for our premium plugins ? The submission form for our forum ?
Would you mind expanding on this or perhaps sharing a screenshot ?
That being said, an asterisk usually stands for a required field in a web form. It is a web standard.
Third, and most important for your sales, I went through all the cart’s steps only to find It will not let me input my state. At first, I thought it would know based on my zip code. But, no, it is greyer out and will not allow me to input. Then I get the error, you must input your state.
That is very odd indeed!
Would it be possible to have a screenshot of that or perhaps send the complete address over to [email protected] (note that no response can be sent from that email address) ?
As you can guess this is the exact opposite of what we want: make the purchase process simple for our awesome customers.
Whatever the issue is, we will work around it as quickly as possible for you.
I’d like someone to contact me. I was referred to your calendar by our developer and am not too happy or confident at the moment.
I totally understand where you are coming from. In fact, I would feel the exact same way in your position.
I would like to try to make this much better for you.
Thank you for hanging in there as we go through that process together.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.which product do I need to display all our eventbrite events in a ‘calendar view’ on our website?
You will need a copy of our Eventbrite Tickets Premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/
There is no contact number on your website to call to discuss the requirements.
That is correct.
The good news is that we can answer all of your questions here.
– What I buy the wrong product? there does not seem to be a trial??
We offer a 30 day refund policy on all of our products.
This lets you decide if you like the product or not.And of course, please reach out to us while you are setting things up if you have any questions or issues.
Can someone contact me to discuss this.
Alas, we do not offer phone support. But I will gladly continue helping you here.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. We actually have a snippet that sends a notification to organizers.
You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/niconerd/16770b84adb6156aaa77948bf208bacb
Other than that, you could take a more hardcoded approach such as the one found here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/working-solution-for-send-tickets-copy-to-another-e-mail/#post-1273678
Let me know if that helps.

MemberGood evening Ashley and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.1) Can you create custom required fields for ticket purchases. For example, name, email, job title, company, etc.
Yes absolutely. These are called additional attendee information fields: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/
2) If one person is purchasing 5 tickets, can you force that they have to fill in each individuals information (name, email, job title, etc.)
That is the standard behaviour of our plugin, so yes you can.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

With that in mind, we do have a ticket open to ensure that widget uses the same date settings you have correctly identified.
Alas, I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through.Best regards,

MemberGood evening Dominic,
I am sorry for the delay writing back.
I have presented these 2 ideas to the extension author.
The good news is that he did agree that this was a great idea.As such, I have logged this as an enhancement feature request.
