Remove english ordinal suffix for the day in Week Widget.

I try to remove de English ordinal suffix in the head date of the Widget. I change the date configuration but doesn´t change. Can you help Me?

I would love to help you with this topic.

You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/eabd55a204915d02c7e2edf8eb8cc270

With that in mind, we do have a ticket open to ensure that widget uses the same date settings you have correctly identified.

 

Alas, I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
