MemberGood evening Mieke and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Could you tell me under which email address that purchase was made ?
Or better yet, if you have the WooCommerce order #?This way I will be able to trace the transaction back and see what is going on.
For now, I am only able to locate Order #1290710 for the Events Calendar Pro.You can use a private reply for that purpose, should you wish to.
Hang in there!

Once that is done, you can head over to Events -> Settings -> Display and simply select the views you are interested in.
Let me know how that goes.

We are sorry to hear about the calendar crashing after your latest update. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.First off, major kudos on the testing so far.
Even though the calendar has not yet reappeared, this was the correct approach to fixing things. Before attempting anything else, it is wise to do a database backup for extra safety.
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
If not, consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors).
A first quick test is to simply:
- Using FTP, temporarily rename the other the Events Calendar plugin folders (Filter bar, Community Events, Pro) to something like /z_the-events-calendar-filterbar/.
- Temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen
This will ensure that there are no conflicting versions of our plugins and no customizations from your theme at play.
Then:
- Delete the /the-events-calendar/ folder using FTP
- Make sure all of your caching plugins are disabled and the cache emptied
- Download a fresh copy of the Events Calendar here https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar/
- Activate it and see if the issue is gone
If it is, it will be a matter of:
- Making sure the other the Events Calendar are at their latest version (comparing with the version found here: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
If not, please delete the plugin folder using FTP and install a freshly downloaded version
- Reactivating the plugins one by one
- Revert back to your theme as the last step.
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic. It sound like you are a prime candidate to get a copy of the Events Calendar Pro: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
It provides many great features, but recurring events is probably the one you will be interested in the most.
We do not currently provide full support when it comes to ticketing and recurring events, but if I understand your requirements correctly, this will be perfect.
Here is how that would work:
- You create the course’s event and define it repeating slots (recurring events): https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
- You create the ticket for the event series (which is actually the only thing you can do for now)
Net result: you will have a course with repeating slots and a ticket that covers all of these repeating slots.
By default, the ticket will appear in each of these repeating slots. But, if you prefer, it is easy to display it only in the first slot. You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/0535375b9315376b0c13cb8722d7434f
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.Ideally, I would need a link to your website to be sure.
But, by the sound of it, I believe that it is probably a question of the font color for the name of the events.
In order to gain full power on your site’s look and feel, I would highly recommend reading the following articles:

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the date picker displaying in an unexpected manner on your site. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.
By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
If none of that is possible, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Jay and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the fact that you are not receiving notifications when users create events. I would love to help you with this topic.
I have only one email in alerts setting. I do receive other emails from WordPress so SMTP does work.
Actually, it is still possible that this use of WP mail does not work properly on your server.
You can have the system send tickets from any chosen email address by simply installing, configuring and testing the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
Using a real SMTP server with authentication will bypass the built-in WP mail functionality altogether.
Please make sure you configure and test the settings using the plugin’s built-in tool.
This is the fastest and most efficient way to solve these types of issues.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Gordon and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.I believe there are a couple of ways that you could work around this.
Whatever you do, you should use the global stock feature from Event Tickets Plus.
This will ensure that the overall stock is always kept “in check” while you are selling different ticket types.
This is untested, but here is a solution idea:
You could create a single ticket type and a ticket for a table of 8.
Once that is done, you could use a Product Quantity plugin for WooCommerce and edit the product in WooCommerce.
That way, you could force the “table” product to be a quantity of 8. That also allows you for a specific pricing.
There are several plugins out there, you might have to test a few to find one that works (e.g: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-incremental-product-quantities/)
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Adam,
I am glad this is helping.
Yes, you are right, all of these codes are pretty similar. As you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide support for customization.
So in short, it will really depend on how much you want to tweak things (to your point).

MemberGood afternoon Damian,
I am sorry this thread was closed automatically.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch.
We are actively working on a solution for what is now a top priority bug for us.Alas, I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through.Hang in there!
