ParticipantDear
We are selling courses.
For the Courses we have 7 tickets available. One Course has 10 repeating slots. How can we achieve this?We are also looking at WooCommerce Appointments for this but would like to have one Integrated Solution.
Thx

MemberGood evening Steve and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. It sound like you are a prime candidate to get a copy of the Events Calendar Pro: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
It provides many great features, but recurring events is probably the one you will be interested in the most.
We do not currently provide full support when it comes to ticketing and recurring events, but if I understand your requirements correctly, this will be perfect.
Here is how that would work:
- You create the course’s event and define it repeating slots (recurring events): https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
- You create the ticket for the event series (which is actually the only thing you can do for now)
Net result: you will have a course with repeating slots and a ticket that covers all of these repeating slots.
By default, the ticket will appear in each of these repeating slots. But, if you prefer, it is easy to display it only in the first slot. You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/0535375b9315376b0c13cb8722d7434f
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantOk, clear
How can we have repeating events and have 1 ticket bookable for each event?

MemberHi Steve,
At this point in time I’m afraid to say you cannot create a ticket for a recurring event and have users select a single date from the series.
The only ways to workaround this are to follow the approach outlined by Geoff but create an individual ticket for each possible date (and you might build on this with some customization work to only show the correct ticket for the date being viewed), or else you could create individual (non-recurring) events and add the required ticket(s) for each.
However, as full support for recurring events is not yet available for Event Tickets or Event Tickets plus, I’m afraid there simply isn’t an easy solution.

Thanks so much!
