How to use with multiple languages

We use Events Calendar for a bilingual church. The language plugin appends ‘en’ or ‘es’ to the URL, but I cannot see how to change the URL slug. It should be stpatrickracine.com/en/events but the URL slug remains stpatrickracine.com/events
