MemberHi Kevin,
So sorry for the trouble here with licenses!
Will you please make sure that all of the Modern Tribe plugins installed on your site are updated to the latest versions?
- The Events Calendar 4.3.3
- Events Calendar PRO 4.3.3
- Event Tickets 4.3.3
- Event Tickets Plus 4.3.3
Missing license key fields usually indicates that there are different versions of the plugins installed and updating will bring them back. 🙂
Please update and let me know if that helps do the trick.
Thanks!

MemberSure thing! You should be able to access past versions by heading to My Account > Downloads.
You can also get past versions of <u>The Events Calendar</u> on WordPress.org:

Cheers!

MemberHi Russ,
Sure thing! I have deactivated your license for Event Tickets Plus and replaced it with a license for Eventbrite Tickets. You can access the new license by logging into your account here on this site and heading to My Account > Licenses.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know!
Cheers,

MemberHi @mgmg,
Thanks for reaching out!
Ah yes, our shopping cart has a frustrating limitation that prevents you from being able to apply multiple discounts.
Would you be willing to purchase those items separately? That should allow you to checkout and apply the discounts for each one.
We would be happy to make a coupon for you but, as I mentioned, the cart would prevent you from using that as well, so making the separate purchases will be the most efficient way to checkout.
Sorry for the trouble! I know that’s not ideal at all, but I hope it helps — let me know if it doesn’t work for some reason and we can continue to figure it out together.
Thanks for your support!

MemberHi Chris,
Thanks for following up with the individual threads! I was stoked to see these come in and I have notified the team so we can start chipping away.
This is a great feature request. In fact, I think I read two different features:
- The ability to link to an external ticketing system
- A new ticket type that includes a flexible pricing option for donation-based purchases
The ability to link to an external ticketing system
The first one is something you could theoretically do today with the Website URL field when creating an event. That can be used to enter the link where tickets can be purchased and it will be displayed in the Details section of the event (screenshot). From there, you could change the word “Website” to something like “Tickets” with a template override of the modules/meta/details.php template file. Similarly, you could change the URL to be displayed as a button with custom text using the steps outlined in this guide.
That would allow both you and your Community Events submitters to specify an external ticket source for events — is that sort of what you were looking for?
A new ticket type that includes a flexible pricing option for donation-based purchases
This is definitely an interesting idea. Just to make sure I’m understanding it, do you see this being the same thing as a normal ticket type, but with an open-ended price price that:
- allows you to specify a base price for the ticket that buyers can add to with a voluntary donation amount
- allows you to specify a base price for the ticket that buyers can add to with a mandatory donation amount
- allows you to specify no base price for the ticket and leave the total purchase price up to the buyer
- allows you to specify both specific and open-ended donation amounts
Also, do you imagine this being a feature that Event Tickets handles entirely on its own? The reason I ask is because WooCommerce already has the Name Your Price extension and my guess is that this feature would either require us to leverage that tool or override it completely if it is already installed on a site. In fact, have you tried using that extension with Event Tickets Plus? I wonder if it would address what you’re looking for without new development.
Cheers!

MemberHi Marcus, nice to see you again and I hope all is well!
I’m sorry to say that it is not currently possible to create an RSS feed directly from a filtered search of cities.
That said, it is possible to use the URL of a Venue to create an RSS feed. I’m not sure if that gets you exactly what you’re looking for, but it is one way to get a location-based feed of events.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers,

Our system typically closes threads automatically after three weeks of inactivity, but I wanted to check in and see if you had any other questions here about merging Community Events and Event Aggregator — please let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can.

MemberHi Chintan,
Oh, sorry. The example I sent you does work, but it is meant for Event Tickets RSVPs instead of the Ticket email sent via WooCommerce.
While I do not have a snippet available for that specific scenario, you might want to try the one suggested in this StackOverflow post.
Sorry I do not have a concrete answer for you here, but I do hope this at least helps get the ball rolling in the right direction!
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberThis is mainly due to clashes with Redux framework IMHO. (one big one is jQuery date picker plugin – several posts on this forum regarding that conflict) – this kills the categories selector on community events… I found 3+ posts about this lately on this forum.
Oh, that’s really good to know. Sounds like a conflict with the Redux Framework is a good possibility. In fact, if you haven’t opened a support ticket with them for help isolating its scripts from appearing where the calendar is, then that would another route to pursue in addition to the tickets you open with us here.
If it’s ok with you, I would like to close this thread since we’ll be moving to the individual threads you will be creating for each isolated issue you plan on reporting. Let me know if that is ok or if you have any additional comments to add here before we move on to those threads.
Thanks,

MemberHi Benjamin,
I do not expect a fix for this before the 4.4 release and I’m sorry to say that there are no manual overrides available that I am aware of.
I know it’s not ideal, for sure, and I apologize for the issue, but our development team is fully engaged in the 4.4 release and this will be scoped for one of the maintenance releases following it.
You can be assured that we’ll follow up with you directly in this thread when it is ready to ship.
Thanks again for the report and for your patience while we work on this.

MemberHi Rutger,
Renewals are annual. We’ll send you a link by email a few weeks before the expiration date, but you can renew at any time before or after that by logging into your account and initiating the renewal directly there on the My Account > Licenses screen. 🙂
Thanks!
