    Hi there, Yanyong! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry we haven’t delivered on your time expectations for a response. It’s not a good feeling to be ignored and we’re sorry if we gave you that feeling.

    For the record, our policy is to provide responses within 24-48 hours on weekdays, so sorry if that wasn’t clear up front.

    On that note, let’s take a look at the issue.

    I just tried setting up two instances of the Mini Calendar widget on my setup, with each widget filtered to display a specific category. I’m using the default WordPress Twenty Fourteen theme and everything seems to work smoothly. Here’s a screenshot of my widget configurations. Are yours similar?

    Have you checked that you hit “Save” after selecting a filter from the widget settings? Please forgive me if that sounds trivial, but it does come up from time to time and is worth checking.

    Secondly, are you running the latest version of The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO? Both are currently on version 3.9.1. Please update if you haven’t already.

    Next, please follow these troubleshooting steps and let me know if you see a difference. I’m wondering if there’s a conflict at play since I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue myself and these steps will help us identify that.

    Let’s start there. Please give those a shot and let me know what you find. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hello Dave–thanks for getting in touch!

    The template used for the results should match the default view you have selected in Events > Settings > Display. Given that you mentioned events-gridview is referenced, I’d imagine that the Month View template is your default.

    You can either check out the default template, which is located at /plugins/the-events-calendar/views/default-template.php. Or, you can dig deeper into the specific template for Month View at /views/month.php as well as the modules for it located in the /views/month subdirectory.

    Does this help you locate the template you’re looking for? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey Dan! Thanks for following up.

    Does the code you shared work if you change Line 16 to:

    echo 'xmlns:ev="http://purl.org/rss/2.0/modules/event/"';

    Please give that a shot and let me know if you see a difference.

    Cheers!

    Hi there, Paul! Thanks for getting in touch and for checking out PRO–I hope it’s a good fit for your project. 🙂

    These are great questions. Let’s try to tackle them one at a time.

    Do you have any sites that have over upcoming 1000 events?

    I can’t think of any off the top of my head, we do have a nice showcase of sites running the plugin and I do know we have tested the plugin in instances with that many events and haven’t hit any issues. In regards to the map, the default Map View displays 10 events at a time, so loading would definitely not be an issue right out of the box.

    I do want to point out that we do offer a full refund on all purchases within 30-days. Sometimes the best way to see if something works with your specific setup is to install it and take it for a spin.

    Can I add filters (i.e. countries and states)? And choose to hide certain filters?

    Yes, adding filters is certainly possible and, in fact, we have a nice write-up on how to add custom filters to the events bar above the calendar.

    For something more out of the box, you might be interested in our Filter Bar add-on. This gives you a lot more flexibility to add and remove default filters right out of the box. For example, you could use Categories and Tags for the countries and states and configure them in Filter Bar.

    Also, would your team be potentially available for hire in the migration of my site’s events from it’s existing calendar plugin?

    We certainly do provide custom enterprise-level help, if needed. Here’s more information on how to get started. 🙂

    Can you point me to the demo for organizer view?

    Absolutely! Here’s a simple example.

    For list view, is there a way to make the line height smaller so that more events can be shown on the same screen?

    Yes. Actually, the calendar is extremely customizable as far as styles and layout go. I’d suggest heading over to our Themer’s Guide which provides a comprehensive overview of how to customize the calendar’s appearance, including styles and overriding templates.

    Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know and thanks again for reaching out.

    Cheers!

    Hi there, Dan! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the issue with the snippet.

    I just tried the snippet myself in the functions.php file of the default WordPress Twenty Fourteen theme and it seems to work smoothly. My hunch is that you will need to double-check your formatting to make sure the snippet was pasted correctly and is formatted in a way that is consistent with the rest of your theme’s functions.php file.

    Does the same issue pop up when you activate Twenty Fourteen? How about if you disable all other plugins?

    Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey there, Jakub–thanks for reaching out and for the kind words! I’m stoked to hear you’re enjoying the plugins. 🙂

    Good questions and thanks for separating them neatly. Let’s try to hit them one at a time.

    1. When I allow auto-import in Facebook ad-on, I get at first time everithing I want. It means, all events are correct. But, 2-5 hrs later I get multiple copies of one event

    I’ve seen similar reports of this pop up from time to time.

    We haven’t been able to reproduce the issue ourselves, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. However, because of the complexity of testing the issue, would it be possible for you to create a separate test site in a subdirectory on your server and follow the steps outlined in this thread?

    Let’s start there and see what we find.

    2. Sometimes, when I import an event, it goes directly to all events, but without the location.

    If the event isn’t displayed in Map View, that either means there is no address on the event or that the Google Maps API was unable to verify the address.Please check to make sure an address was imported with the event and that it is correct and verified.

    3. Can I somwhere get the theme you have got in Demo? How it is with seo, is the plugin optimized?

    Sure thing! You can download the WP Shindig theme here. The theme itself was developed purely to be a demo for The Events Calendar, but the plugin itself does a good job of handling SEO for events. You can certainly customize the theme to enhance it in any other way you see fit. 🙂

    Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Hello Joyce! Thanks for using the plugin and for getting in touch. 🙂

    Good question. In fact, we have a very handy tutorial available that provides a step-by-step overview of how to add additional views to the list. Specifically, you’ll want to check out the “How to Add View” section, which provides the code you;re looking for.

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Hello Evgenii! Sorry for the issue with here with the tooltips. I see what you mean and can help you troubleshoot it.

    I’ve seen the same thing happen a couple of other times (such as this thread) and both times it was related to a conflict with a caching plugin being used on the site.

    Are you using a caching plugin on your site? If so, please try disabling the minification feature as suggested in the thread mentioned above to see if that help resolve the issue and let me know what you find.

    Cheers!

    Hi there, Terri! Sorry for the trouble with the snippet. Let’s try to figure this out together. 🙂

    If I’m understanding correctly, everything worked up until the theme update and it was after the update that you started to notice a change. Is that correct?

    If so, I wonder if the theme’s functions.php file was modified in the update. If so, it’s possible that the snippet needs to be pasted in another location of the file than it was before. Is it possible to try pasting the snippet at the very top of the file just after the opening <?php tag? Does that make a difference?

    I just had to update my theme and now when I input the info from the link above, I get a fatal error

    If you’re getting a fatal error, then it might help to do a check for the TribeWooTickets class before running the snippet. You can do that by wrapping the snippet in the following:

    if(class_exists('TribeWooTickets')) {
    // Rest of the snippet
    }

    I tried the original snippet myself using the default WordPress Twenty Fourteen theme and it seems to work smoothly without any errors. If the above suggestions don’t work for some reason, is it possible to try activating Twenty Fourteen, adding the snippet and template override there, then trying again?

    Please give these a shot and let me know what you find. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Awesome! I’m glad the comments are working again–nice work. 🙂

    Do you have a code that I can put into the css in my customizer?

    We are fairly limited in how much we can support custom development questions like this. That said, I did take a quick look at the site and it looks like you should be able to prevent the header from overlapping the datepicker by adding this to your theme’s style.css file:

    .x-logobar, .x-navbar {
    z-index: 999;
    }

    Cheers!
