MemberThanks, Lars! That helps.
How about any plugins that affect SEO and/or flush rewrite rules? Does the theme include flush rewrite rules?
Also, are you able to go to Settings > Permalinks and simply click the Save button? I would like to see if flushing permalinks would help here.
Thanks!
GeoffP.S. I’m going to move this thread to the PRO forum since it’s more about that than Community. 🙂

MemberHi Lars–thanks for following up!
Were you able to confirm my first question: what forms of caching are in use on the site right now?
Thanks!

MemberHi there, lesliebkelley!
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the issue here. I do see, in fact, that when trying to submit an event with an image, that error message does pop up. Very strange indeed!
I got the error message on your site, but not when testing on my own local setup. That makes me think it’s possible that there’s a conflict at play with your theme or another installed plugin.
To rule that out, will you please try following the troubleshooting steps outlined in this guide? It will walk you through activating a default WordPress theme and deactivating all other plugins to help identify where a conflict might exist.
Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Lars!
I see what you mean there. Clicking on the event date for 10/5 redirects to the event on 10/6 instead. In fact, I see this at play in your other recurring events as well: clicking on the first instance of a recurring event redirects to the next instance in the series.
A couple of thoughts here:
- Can you confirm what (if any) forms of caching are in use on your site right now? For example, does your hosting automatically cache your site’s content, or perhaps an installed plugin does the same?
- What happens if you create a new recurring series that follows a different pattern? For example, a recurring event that repeats once in one week. Does it behave any differently?
And, of course, just to erase any doubts: have you tried replicating the issue when all other plugins are deactivated while activating a default WordPress theme?
Thanks!

MemberAwesome! I’m glad that did the trick, thanks for confirming!
Yeah, Simple Custom CSS is just a slightly easier way of managing custom styles without having to add them directly to your theme’s stylesheet.
Thanks again for following up and please feel free to reach back out if any other questions pop up–we’d be happy to help. 🙂

MemberHi there, len!
Will you please try this instead:
#tribe-events-pg-template { max-width: 960px !important; }I’m not actually seeing that CSS at all in your markup. Are you adding it to your theme’s style.css file at the bottom? Or perhaps you can use a plugin like Simple Custom CSS to help add the styles.
Thanks!
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi there len and welcome back to the forums. 🙂
It looks like this CSS will help:
`#tribe-events-pg-template {
max-width: 960px;
}`Give that a shot and let me know if it does the trick.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Gregg! Thanks for getting in touch–I’m stoked you’re giving the plugins a look for your project. 🙂
We do indeed have a ticketing plugin that integrates The Events Calendar with WooCommerce called WooCommerce Tickets. This will allow you to create tickets directly in the Events editor. From there, they will be registered as Products in WooCommerce. You can set the Start and End dates for when tickets go on sale and, when they’re on sale, will be displayed directly on the single event page, where the transaction gets handled through WooCommerce. It’s pretty slick.
I do want to point out that one thing WooCommerce Tickets cannot do at the moment is make appointments. So, for example, if you are looking for a solution that sells tickets for a particular timeslot, you will either need to create separate events for each appointment or look for another solution. Just wanted to put that out there.
And, finally, yes…you can set the ticket quantity as well. 🙂
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. You may also be interested in viewing the New User Primer for the plugin to get an idea of how it works.

MemberHello there, Richard! Thanks for getting in touch and for looking into our plugins. 🙂
That’s an excellent question. We are in fact looking into a solution that would allow for bookings and appointments in the calendar format. Unfortunately, that’s not available now so you might find better luck with another plugin for the time being.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHello Linda, welcome back to the forums!
Is the event a multiday event, like one that started on a past date but continues into the present date? If so, that would help explain how an event would display in the Upcoming Events list like that.
Another option is to use the “Clean-up events after” option in Events > Settings. That works specifically for recurring events and will ensure that past recurring events after a specific timeframe will be removed.
Does this help? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!
