MemberHi there, Matthew! Thanks for getting in touch and reaching out here.
I’m sorry to hear that the plugins are contributing to heavy load times on your site. We definitely pride ourselves on the work we’ve done to make the plugin as performant as possible, so seeing this feedback is disappointing for sure, but also helpful.
Can you approximate the number of events that are currently published in your calendar and how many of them are recurring events?
I’m also interested in knowing more about your hosting package. Would you be willing to share details about it–perhaps a link to details about it, whether it’s a shared or dedicated server, and how many other sites it is hosting?
Thanks again!

MemberHi there alldrez,
I’m so sorry to hear that. I too know the feeling that comes from losing hours of hard work and it’s not a good one for sure. And the thought that those hours were lostย while working with our product is disappointing to me as well.
You are correct here: tickets for events must be created directly in the editor for that event. I can certainly see the confusion of thinking that tickets could be created as Products first in WooCommerce, then applied and reused for specific events, but that’s unfortunately not the case.
I realize this is not the answer you were hoping for, but does it help clarify things a bit? Please feel free to let me know if you have any follow-up questions here and I’d be happy to help.

MemberHi there niggo!
Good question. I think the best way to approach this would be on the WooCommerce side of things and set your virtual products to automatically update to complete status on approval.
One way to do that is to edit your tickets in WooCommerce (Products > Products) and make sure both the “Virtual” and “Downloadable” boxes are checked for each ticket.
There is also a WooCommerce extension that does this:ย http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-order-status-control/
And it looks like there is another plugin that does something similar.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHi there Scott and thanks for getting in touch! We hope the plugin is a nice fit for your project. ๐
Good question. PRO itself does not include post relationship functionality right out of the box. However, I have heard of cases where people have successfully linked posts up using the Posts 2 Posts plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/posts-to-posts/
We will need some custom code work on the single events display page either way to pull event description, cost, URL, etc.
If you’re looking for help with customizations, we do offer custom enterprise solutions. Or, if that’s more than you’re looking for, we’d be happy to share a list of freelancers who might be able to help you out.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. ๐

MemberI’m afraid livereload.js is not from us.
Do you see the same issue and errors when switching to a default WordPress theme (e.g. Twenty Fourteen)? How about when using a default themeย and deactivating other plugins at the same time?

MemberHi Tim, thanks for following up!
I’m afraid there isn’t a way to default a category or tag in that way. However,ย you can set any of those filter fields to be autocomplete search fields. Otherwise, the other options are dropdowns or checkboxes.
I know this isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, but does it help answer your question?
Cheers!

MemberThat’s absolutely correct. You may certainly move the license from site to site for your testing. Good call. ๐
Does that help cover your questions? Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with regarding licenses.
Cheers!

MemberHey there, Spencer! Thanks for following up. ๐
Yeah, the core version of The Events Calendar is the only plugin of outs that calls the API. Is it possible your theme uses it in some way? It looks like the error is coming from a file calledย main.js so that might provide a clue.
I also wonder if the site is cached in some way that would prevent the update from loading? That might be worth checking as well.
Cheers!
