Good question. There is currently no filter included that will query all events specifically by country. However, you could use Categories and Tags to group events in the same country together. Plus, if you had the Filter Bar add-on, you could allow those events to be filtered by those Categories and Tags.

Geoff, how would you automagically add a tag (country) to each event based on admin or community submission?

If that’s doable, that works.

I’m afraid there isn’t a way to default a category or tag in that way. However, you can set any of those filter fields to be autocomplete search fields. Otherwise, the other options are dropdowns or checkboxes.

I know this isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, but does it help answer your question?
