Linking an existing Class CPT to an Event Schedule?

Hello, I have a client that sells training classes. They have many (100’s) of classes already defined in a custom post type. Each class occurs 2-3 times a month, though not regular enough for a reoccurring schedule. They would like to use The Events Calendar to display the various classes each month with an automated system as their scheduled dates change frequently, etc. Today’s process involves posting a pdf from a schedule in excel. They do not charge to attend classes, so the payment processing isn’t needed.

In the PRO version, can we link a class post type to each event post type?

Or, do you know of any post to post linking plugin that might do the job for us?

We will need some custom code work on the single events display page either way to pull event description, cost, URL, etc.

Good question. PRO itself does not include post relationship functionality right out of the box. However, I have heard of cases where people have successfully linked posts up using the Posts 2 Posts plugin:
