MemberHello veruska!
Sorry for the trouble here. Just curious, is this a private event on Facebook or is it set to public? I tried importing that ID and received an error that it either doesn’t exist or is private, so I wonder if there’s something to that.
Also, I just want to confirm–which versions of The Events Calendar, The Events Calendar PRO and Facebook Events are you using?
Let’s start there. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHello there, hypnotiqart!
Yeah, I know that can be a little tricky.
The snippet I provided in the last thread belongs in a template–that means you would add it to the page template of your choice (or a new one) as opposed to adding it directly to the page or post you’re working on.
We are definitely looking into adding more shortcodes to the mix (such as the list widget) but that’s unfortunately down the road. Event Rocket is still the cleanest way to add an event or calendar directly to a page or post with a shortcode for the time being.
Let me know if you still have questions here and I’ll do my best to help out. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHello there, Anna! Thanks for getting in touch and checking out the plugin–I hope it’s a fit for you. 🙂
Nice question. The calendar includes the same default permissions for events that WordPress provides to publish, edit and delete posts.
I do want to mention our Community Events plugin. It allows members of your site to submit events to the site’s calendar using a submission form on the front end of the site. You can control whether submissions are published, pending, or drafts and block specific roles from being able to access the form. Sounds like it might be a nice fit for what you’re looking at.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Varun,
That’s an excellent question. At the same time, I’m afraid this would require a level of custom development that we aren’t able to support here in the forums. I do see that there is a feature request for better BuddyPress integration–I’d suggest adding your vote, which will provide notifications as updates are available.
I also came across this article that outlines how someone was able to add the Filter Bar to a site’s homepage–perhaps this would be a nice starting point for integrating it into a BuddyPress group template.
Lastly, I was also able to find this thread that provides a list of the scripts to enqueue for the calendar.
Sorry I don’t have a concrete answer for you here, but I do hope this helps at least get you started in the right direction. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Sonia, that’s a great question!
We do have Community Events, which allows members to submit events to the site’s calendar. We also have WooCommerce Tickets, which adds the ability to create and sell tickets for events.
The bummer–at least for now–is that the two plugins are not compatible with another. We’re looking into that as a feature, but currently visitors would not be able to both submit and event and create tickets for those submitted events.
Sorry about that–but does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHello Varun–thanks for getting in touch!
Good question. We do have a shortcode available that could work out in this case. If you’re looking for more options, I’d suggest checking out Event Rocket, which adds a number of additional shortcodes for the calendar.
Will that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHello Michael–thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the trouble here.
That’s very odd indeed! I just tried testing on my setup and it looks like the Pending and Drafts links are correctly displaying pending and draft events, respectively.
That doesn’t mean this isn’t an issue for you, it just means we’ll need to do some troubleshooting first to see where the conflict is. In this case, will you please run though these troubleshooting steps and let me know what you find? That will give us a good starting point.
Cheers!
