MemberOh gosh, my apologies! That was a bad link and it should have been this instead:
Thanks for letting me know. 🙂

MemberHey Bryan,
Chrissy’s request is slightly different than what you are asking. For you, try adding this instead:
.tribe-tickets-attendees-list-optout {
display: none;
}That will remove the option from the RSVP/ticket form altogether.
Thanks!

MemberHi JM and thanks for getting in touch!
Great questions.
The Advanced Widgets are a set of widgets you can embed in any page or post. There are several widgets in total, including:
- Advanced List Widget (shows all event details in List View format)
- Mini Calendar Widget (a Month View of upcoming events)
- Countdown Widget (a timer that counts down to an upcoming event of your choosing)
- Featured Venue Widget (shows upcoming events from a particular venue)
As far Additional Fields go, they allow you to create custom details about an event. For example, let’s say your event has a theme. You can add a custom field for Theme and have that information display in the event details. More on this can be found here.
The Events Calendar does not include social sharing by default, but we have a handy tutorial on how to set that up with other plugins.
And, absolutely, you can add images or any other content you would like to an event when filling out the Description field just like a default WordPress post. 🙂
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHey Matthew, thanks for reaching out!
We couldn’t agree more. In fact, we always publish a post that covers high level things to watch for, including which templates are being modified in a release. Here’s the post for 4.1:
We could certainly be better about linking the release notes up to that post to bridge any gap in communication, so that’s been noted and we’ll make an effort to do a better job of that moving forward.
Cheers!

MemberHey Chrissy (and folks),
So sorry for the trouble here with the public attendee view. While there is no global option to turn on or off the list, you can add this to your theme’s style.css file or using a plugin like Simple Custom CSS:
.tribe-attendees-list-container {
display: none;
}That will effectively hide the list for all events so that you can then go in and disable the option from the events that should not display it. Once done, that snippet can be removed and things will function normally moving forward.
Will this work? Please let me know.
Thanks,

MemberHey @carcal1 and sorry for the trouble here! I do indeed see that events are not displayed on your site in smaller mobile views, so let’s dig into this together.
First off, it looks like there is a Javascript error on your site:
Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).unslider is not a function (index):251
Are you able to clear out that error and see if the issue continues to happen?
Another way we can test this out is to test for other conflicts. If you are unable to clear out the error above, then please try following the steps outlined in this article and let me know if you continue to see the issue pop up when the site is running only Modern Tribe plugins on a default WordPress theme.
Let’s start there and see what we find.
Thanks!

MemberHey Jonathan,
Ack, yeah, I do see that issue on your site. Are yeah potentially able (and willing) to set up a development site so we can test with the 4.1 plugins without interfering the live site?
If so, let’s start with nothing but The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO and Community Events installed on the default Twenty Sixteen theme, then try to replicate the issue from there before diving in any further.
Thanks!

MemberActually, you can grab the latest copy of PRO (we just released 4.1 last night) by heading to My Account > Downloads here on this site and then installing the plugin to the dev site manually. There’s certainly no need for two licenses.
Please give that a shot, then lets take a look at the system for the dev site from there.
Thanks!

MemberHeck yeah, nice work and thanks for following up, Mira! Sorry again for the trouble and thanks for your patience while we worked on this together. 🙂

MemberHey Jonathan,
I’ve been testing this on my end and can’t seem to replicate the issue when working with the latest versions:
- The Events Calendar 4.0.7
- Events Calendar PRO 4.0.7
- Community Events 4.0.6
…and using the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme.
Here are the steps I used for testing:
- Make sure I have the latest plugins installed
- Head to the Community Events submission form (/events/community/add)
- Change the start and end date and times for the event
- Submit the event
- Get the errors that required information is missing
- Check the submitted start and end date and times to see if they have reset, which they have not
Is there anything else outside of that I might be missing? Let me know and we can go from there.
Thanks!

MemberThanks Rob!
I notice you have The Events Calendar 4.0.7 installed but Events Calendar PRO 4.0.6. Would you be willing to update PRO to 4.0.7?
From there, please try deleting the recurring event we set up together and creating a new one altogether using the same settings we did before. It would also be helpful to try using a slightly different title and slug for this so we have a fresh URL to work with.
Thanks so much!

MemberAwesome, thanks for following up, Glenn! We do indeed have a ticket open for this issue and hope to roll out an official patch for it in an upcoming maintenance release. I definitely appreciate you bringing this up so we’re aware of it. 🙂
Let us know if any other questions pop up and we’d be happy to help.
Cheers!

I’ll go ahead and close this thread but please do feel free to let us know if any other questions pop up and we’d be happy to help. In the meantime, keep your eyes open for Version 4.2 which will likely do exactly what you’re looking for.
Thanks so much!
