That’s spot on what I would suggest as well — thanks Matthew!

Kam, let me know if the steps in the article Matthew linked to help out.

    Cheers!

    Hi Eric,

I’m really sorry, but it looks like the application never came though. We had two applications submitted on July 1 but neither of them seem to be from you, or at least contain your name or email address.

Would you be willing to re-submit the application? Again, sorry for the mixup here but I can make sure your new application gets looked at right away.

Hi Andrew, I see my last reply was marked as the correct answer. I’ll go ahead and close this thread but please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions about our products and we’d be happy to help. šŸ™‚

    Hey Ryan,

My apologies, my last reply might have added confusion than necessary. You are correct, I had not fully accounted for the Eventbrite requirement. Here’s the best configuration for you:

That will cover all the requirements you mentioned, plus more features that are included in PRO.

Sorry again for the miscommunication and I hope this adds a lot more clarity.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

You bet — it’s our pleasure and I’m so happy to hear all is working well! Thanks a ton for sticking with us while we checked this out. It was a good way for us to get more familiar with Visual Composer, which is always a bonus.

I’ll go ahead and close this thread but thanks again for reaching out and feel free to let us know if any other questions pop up — we’d be happy to help. šŸ™‚

    Hi John and great question!

This saved fieldset can indeed be edited but, when it is, it will be on a moving-forward basis. Events that already have the fieldset will need to be edited to make the same changes.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Thanks!

Hi Kam, welcome back and hope you had a great weekend!

Great question. We actually have a tutorial that provides a couple examples on how to change the meta title for any page on the calendar. It does require you to add a bit of code to your theme’sĀ functions.php file, but hopefully it gets you started:

Change the Meta Title for Calendar Views

Will that help you get started? Please let me know. šŸ™‚

    Hey Eric,

    So sorry for the delay!

We are usually able to turn around applications one week from when they are received, though that does vary a bit.

I tried looking up an application with your email address but did not see any from the past two weeks and beyond. Do you happen to know the exact date it was submitted and what email address to look for? I;d be happy to dig a little deeper to locate it from there.

    Thanks!

    Hi Melanie,

Just checking in — did you have any other questions here about the way threads are closed here in the forums? Until we have those new features in place, I wanted to follow-up with you directly to make sure all was good before closing this thread.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

Hey Lee, and thanks for getting in touch!

I’m afraid there is no demo for iCal Importer, though what we do offer is a full refund on all products within 30 days of purchase. That would give you not just a lot of time to test the plugin but to do so on your own site to make sure it works well with any other installed plugins.

Will this work for you? Please let me know. šŸ™‚

Hi Tom, hope you had a great weekend!

One of our developers sat down with Visual Composer over the weekend and found he was able to get the tagged events into the Block 11 module using these settings:

    block-11-settings-tagged-events_720

Does this work for you as well? I sure hope so!

    Cheers,

    Hi Danielle,

    Great questions!

The plugin itself does not provide categories for members. However, you are able to change the role of an user once they are registered in WordPress and then set their permission levels for the plugin in the plugin settings.

Once an events has been submitted through the Community Events form, you would defintely have the ability to edit the starts and end times for a submitted event as an administrator.

And, yes, you can certainly track registrations. For that, I recommend checking out the following plugins:

    • Event Tickets (free) — This plugin allows you to create RSVPs for events and sets up the framework for ticket sales.
    • Event Tickets Plus — This plugin allows you to create tickets for events and then integrates with WooCommerce to sell them directly on your site.
    • Community Tickets — This connects Event Tickets Plus with Community tickets so that those who submit events to your site using Community Events can also create and sell tickets for those events.

It’s worth noting that we have a bundled package that includes all of these plugins at a discounted price. šŸ™‚

Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. šŸ™‚

    Cheers!

Hey Ryan, thanks for getting in touch!

Oh yeah, it sounds like Events Calendar PRO isn’t exactly what you need. Instead, I recommend the following:

    • The Events Calendar (free) — This will display events in a calendar format on your site and give you the ability to create and manage events.
    • Facebook Events — This allows you to to import events from a Facebook page into The Events Calendar either on a one-time or scheduled basis.
    • Eventbrite Tickets — This allows you to sync events between The Events Calendar and Eventbrite.com, including tickets for events.

Note that we do have a bundled package available that includes Facebook Events and Eventbrite Tickets, as well as Events Calendar PRO, iCal Importer and Filter Bar at a discounted price. iCal Importer is something you might also be interested in since it allows you to import events into The Events Calendar from other calendar sources.

I want downloadable features for calendars (I see yours does google and iCal but does that include outlook and exchange?)

It sure does! Those downloaded files are also compatible with Outlook and Exchange.

when creating the event where it the most efficient place to create it? Facebook and Eventbite and then import it using your tool?

I think it’s more of a personal preference, but it’s worth noting that Facebook Events is a one-way import that imports events from Facebook to WordPress rather than the other way around. So, in this case, it might make most sense to create the event at the source and then import it into WordPress from there.

Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. šŸ™‚

    Cheers!
