Hi Danielle,
Great questions!
The plugin itself does not provide categories for members. However, you are able to change the role of an user once they are registered in WordPress and then set their permission levels for the plugin in the plugin settings.
Once an events has been submitted through the Community Events form, you would defintely have the ability to edit the starts and end times for a submitted event as an administrator.
And, yes, you can certainly track registrations. For that, I recommend checking out the following plugins:
- Event Tickets (free) — This plugin allows you to create RSVPs for events and sets up the framework for ticket sales.
- Event Tickets Plus — This plugin allows you to create tickets for events and then integrates with WooCommerce to sell them directly on your site.
- Community Tickets — This connects Event Tickets Plus with Community tickets so that those who submit events to your site using Community Events can also create and sell tickets for those events.
It’s worth noting that we have a bundled package that includes all of these plugins at a discounted price. 🙂
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!
Geoff
