MemberHi. I wasn’t able to replicate this on your site. Here’s a video of my testing: https://cl.ly/1v3L292t3R2T
Please let me know if you still need help with this issue.
Thank you.

MemberHi, Matt. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
I think you could do all those (one or two might need a code customization/tweak), but I’d caution you that our Event Tickets (ET) / Event Tickets Plus (ET+) offering does not support Events Calendar PRO‘s recurring events functionality.
This would only be an annoyance if you have the same training on a regular basis, such as “Weekly Webinar” every Monday at 2pm. You couldn’t use ET/ET+ unless you manually create a new, separate, non-recurring event for each week.
Other than that limitation, you should be good to go with our free products unless you only want to provide access to create events via front-end form instead of via wp-admin, in which case you’d want Community Events. Additionally, you’d need ET+ if you want to charge for courses.
If you’re going to buy several products, check out our Product Bundles.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi, Mike. Yes, create_function() was deprecated in PHP 7.2.
I searched our plugins’ code and found it used in The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, and Community Events.
I’ve logged this bug with our developers and marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Cliff
MemberHi. This is not functionality our plugins currently offer.
You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
Cliff
MemberI did log your bug report of the tribe_events shortcode not respecting the default calendar view setting.
Therefore, I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberThe first is likely to be fixed within 2-8 weeks. (I say that because it has already been assigned to a developer to work on but there’s no guarantee when it might be released, which is why we don’t normally give estimates.)
The second is not actively being worked on so it may never happen or may be months/years.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberI’d caution you against using any manual offset timezone, whether UTC or GMT. It’s always best to use city-based timezones because of Daylight Savings Time (DST), even if your events are in an area that doesn’t observe DST.
We have this soon-to-be-released plugin that only allows city-based timezones and “UTC” itself: https://cl.ly/2H021c2Z301W (it works in the wp-admin event edit screen and on the Community Events form)
I personally recommend only city-based timezones to all our users because of all the oddities, edge cases, and bugs I’ve seen as a result of timezones and DST.
If you really want to rename “UTC” to “GMT”, I’d actually recommend using translations instead of the tribe_events_timezone_choice filter I linked you to previously.
You can customize/change any bit of text with the Say what? plugin (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us). For example, you could try translating “UTC” to “GMT” so that “UTC+1” would look like “GMT+1” to the user but actually be stored as “UTC+1” for the database and functions to work off of.
Please let me know which direction you go and any follow-up thoughts you might have.

MemberHi, Marie. I only see a countdown timer at the temporary URL you shared.
Regardless, because this isn’t currently a known issue, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi, Nicole.
The QR code loads a URL.
Visiting that URL–whether clicking the Check In button on the Attendees Report, by scanning the QR code, or manually entered–the attendee will be checked in if the user has permission. There currently isn’t any error message if the person scanning does not have permission to do so. Instead, it just redirects to the site’s homepage.
Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/#qr-code-checkins and let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Deepak.
Thanks for your detailed request.
The tribe_ext_pdf_tickets_file_name_prefix filter exists, as you said you’re already aware.
Could you please explain the use case for customizing the file name for each event (or were you thinking of customizing per ticket)?
I ask because I’m curious, but my first thought on this is that it wouldn’t work because of the way the extension looks for existing PDF files by the applicable name. It currently only supports a single string, which is filterable, but I’m concerned it could cost even more server resources to look up a variety of possible file name combinations.
