MemberHi. Sorry for the delayed response.
You said it worked fine for 5 import sources.
I would suggest trying more until you figure out a limit. For example, did this just start happening after you added 1 more recently? Or maybe it’s a number of events coming through (regardless of the number of sources).
The more information we can gather, the better bug report I’ll be able to pass along to our developers.

MemberThanks.
The iCal link validates, which is the first step.
My WordPress timezone is “Chicago” and I tested import of 1 event, “Annual Meeting”, and it imported correctly to 8am my time.
Please re-test the import with various WordPress timezone settings and let me know if you discover any issues based on your WordPress timezone settings — whether a certain setting gets it to work or certain ones consistently fail or anything else.
If you determine something like that, please let me know and I’ll test on my site too.
Thanks.

MemberThanks for the details.
A 504 error is a gateway timeout error, so my general thought is there’s an error on Facebook’s side… but they’re Facebook and likely shouldn’t have downtime (especially for a prolonged period).
I see you have a lot of Facebook import feeds setup. I’m not aware of a technical limit to our plugin, but could you try to reduce the list of imports to something small (e.g. 5 feeds) and see if that gets it working again?
Obviously, that’s not a long-term fix, but it may help us narrow down the potential cause of the issue (I’m thinking along the lines of your site requesting too much data at once and Facebook timing out due to too large of a single request).
I’m looking forward to your reply.
Thank you.

MemberHi Denis. Thanks for the link and screenshot. Sorry you’re seeing this.
Please leave the AddThis plugin active but switch to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Fifteen. Does it still happen?
What about if you deactivate all other plugins besides Modern Tribe ones and the AddThis one?
(Essentially, I’m asking you to follow a slightly modified version of our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.)
Please let me know what you find out. If it’s still happening with a default theme and no other plugins active besides AddThis and our plugins, please provide me with a copy of the plugin (e.g. link to .org).
Thanks.

MemberHi Lars. Thanks for the links to help address your question.
I see these 2 links are using different themes.
Also, the 2 widgets definitely have different markup:
I see http://5.k3.de/ is using the Avada theme, which I believe includes a built-in copy of The Events Calendar and modifies some of its output. I would suggest trying the Twenty Fifteen theme on that site and seeing if the markup changes.
One way to tell is to open the Chrome Inspector (or just View Page Source) and see if you find “dtstart”. If you do, it should have all the other markup required for Google Rich Snippet processing.
If the theme switch doesn’t make it happen, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If you determine it’s the Avada theme changing our plugin’s output, please contact them for support regarding this issue.
I’m looking forward to hearing back from you.
Please let me know what you find out.

MemberHi Mary Anne. Yikes! Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Could you please send me screenshots of the offending event’s wp-admin Edit Event screen so I can see what its recurrence pattern is set to? Please also send a link to the front-end view of that information.
Last but not least, would you mind grabbing your system information and pasting it here? Make sure to use the “Set as private reply” checkbox to protect your private information from the public.
You can find the system info by going to WP Admin > Events > Settings > Help tab > System Information section — or by going to [yoursite]/wp-admin/edit.php?page=tribe-common&tab=help&post_type=tribe_events#tribe-system-info
That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this issue.
Could you please provide some specifics, like a link to an event that should but isn’t displaying properly in Google’s results? And screenshots of what you’re seeing when it is working vs when it is not working would be great too.

I’m looking forward to hearing back so I can help you with this.

MemberHi David. Thanks for opening your own thread.
Could you please provide me the link to one or more of the Google Calendar iCal feeds so I can test?

MemberBummer. Thanks for trying.
(Please make sure you have all the latest versions of our plugins before continuing, and try again if you didn’t.)
With all the “Testing for Conflicts Guide” stuff in place (all non-Modern Tribe plugins deactivated and Twenty Fifteen or similar WP core theme active), could you please send me your system information?
You can find the system info by going to WP Admin > Events > Settings > Help tab > System Information section — or by going to [yoursite]/wp-admin/edit.php?page=tribe-common&tab=help&post_type=tribe_events#tribe-system-info
Please also provide screenshots of your Facebook Import settings page(s), if you’re comfortable doing that.
That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Make sure to use the “Set as private reply” checkbox to protect your private information from the public.

MemberThanks for trying so many things and providing the link and additional info.
I was hoping you’d find something definitive in all that testing. However, since you didn’t, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
