    Hi, Brian.

Please set your WordPress General Settings time zone to a “named time zone” and also choose Use Local Time Zones for Each Event mode.

See https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/time-zones/ for all the details and then let me know how this goes for you.

    Hi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

You did not share your System Information or include any other details about the issue you’re experiencing.

The solution for the other thread was to go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > Tickets tab > click to enable for the Events post type

    Did you try this?

Hi, Chris. Thanks for the detailed video.

Not being able to delete (and sometimes not change) Organizers sure would be trouble!

This is not confirmed broken. Here’s a video of me able to do so on my localhost site: https://cl.ly/47032h2a2k0s

I’d look into what other updates you might have performed about 3 weeks ago. I’ll also suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your live/production site.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply.

That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Hi. Sorry to hear this happened for you. Some users experienced the same and others (even with 1,000 or so Venues) on a regularly-powerful server did not.

This issue was fixed right away and our latest versions shouldn’t be causing this on your site.

Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Hi, Waldie. Sorry to hear you’re having a bit of trouble getting things off the ground.

Event Tickets Plus (ET+) is our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets (ET) plugin.

Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets.

You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.

Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.

Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. http://wpshindig.com/event/events-tickets-demo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.

The order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. It could be displayed on their mobile device or they could print it like any other email. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.

You could also Display a List of Attendee’s Events and collect additional information other than name and email address.

Last but not least, we have Bundles and a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Hi, Jay. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.

We don’t have trial licenses, but we have Bundles and a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

Our Genesis theme integration article (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/genesis-theme-framework-integration/) hasn’t been updated in a long while but may still prove helpful to get you started in the right direction there. However, we know of users who use our plugins with Genesis theme out of the box, without any code snippets, so maybe it depends on your theme or version of Genesis.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Hi, Titus.

We don’t have any recommendation here, but any rating/review plugin that works with custom post types and follows WordPress’ coding best practices should be fine.

I’ve not used it before, but I know of https://wordpress.org/plugins/rating-widget/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us)

Surely there are dozens of other choices out there as well.

If you find a good one, feel free to let us know!

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

    Hi, Michael.

You could upgrade your license from Business (3 sites) to Agency (10 sites).

If you don’t want to do that:

Please remove the license key from Old Site > wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses tab

Then visit https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ and remove Old Site from being assigned that license.

Then enter that license key at New Site > wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses tab

Please let me know how this works for you.

    Thanks!

Hi. If I’m understanding your needs fully, you might want to have your template override file as a sort of “gateway”, figuring out the logic for which widget is rendering or whatever other context needs to be detected, and then loading one of 3 other (totally custom) drop-in files by using include_once(), for example.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

Please let me know how things go for you.

Hi. Please reconnect your Eventbrite API keys.

If that doesn’t work, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, attempting an import from Eventbrite, and anything else you can think to do).

Our dropdowns use Select2 and this looks to be possible (https://select2.org/searching#hiding-the-search-box), but that would require custom coding, which we wouldn’t be able to provide.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

However, you could go to this filter’s settings and change it from a Multiselect or Dropdown to instead be a Checkbox field type.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

You can change that to whatever you want by going to wp-admin > Events > Settings > Filters tab > Active Filters area > open the Event Categories filter > type the text you want users to see when using Filter Bar

Please let me know how this goes for you.

Hi, Coach. The “Tickets” tab that you screenshotted is the settings page for Event Tickets / Event Tickets Plus.

Is there a setting you’re looking for that you cannot find?

    Hi, Jav.

This is not currently possible. They would need to remove the ticket from the cart and re-add it.

You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
