MemberHi Joelle. Thanks for your thoroughness. We hope you’ll get comfy with our calendar suite. 🙂
Yes, our Themer’s Guide (that you linked to) is our main help for these customizations.
Although I’m not exactly clear what you’re wanting, I can point you to the tribe_get_custom_fields() method (the deprecated method ends in ‘field’, not ‘fields’)
I also found get_custom_field_by_label() in /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Custom_Meta.php, which is actually the method used by the deprecated tribe_get_custom_field()
Please let me know if any of that helped and if I can be of further assistance.

MemberThank you for the thorough report.
I expect this is more of a plugin conflict than a theme conflict.
I cannot reproduce your findings on my local testing site.
Do you have any custom code or plugin active that affects the jQuery version used or loads jQuery from a non-default source?
If you’re not sure, please deactivate your non-Modern Tribe plugins (leaving Divi activated) and see if the console errors go away.
Let me know what you find out.
Thank you.

MemberRichard, I could not replicate this on my local testing site: http://cl.ly/1t3U0C0Z0j17 (same result with just Event Tickets and also with Event Tickets Plus)
Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberThanks for the Google Calendar URL.
I tried importing the May 22 “Young Adults” event (screenshot of the raw text file) into my local testing site. (I chose this one because there was only one by this name.)
My local testing site’s WordPress General Settings timezone is set to “UTC-5” and it appears that event imported accurately.
Please specify how this specific May 22 “Young Adults” event imported to your site and what your timezone setting is.
Thank you.

MemberI think you should be using add_action() instead of do_action()
I hope that gets you further down the road…
Cliff
MemberThank you. I now understand your issue is that the Tribe Bar “view switcher” isn’t switching.
I noticed console errors at your site: http://cl.ly/1u05112G0c2x
Please resolve these first and see if it solves your issue.
If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.
Thank you.

MemberI see you’re using http://demo.themefuse.com/?theme=philanthropy
We do not guarantee support with any themes other than the WordPress default themes like Twenty Fifteen, per our Scope of Support / Terms. However, if their theme is coded with WP’s best practices, there shouldn’t be any conflicts.
So with all non-Modern Tribe plugins deactivated and the latest version of their unmodified theme, the calendar is causing these error messages?
Cliff
MemberHave you tried using the Additional Fields functionality that’s part of PRO?
I believe that would remove your need to use something like ACF.
Please let me know your thoughts after trying it out.
I also want to disable the ticket email when no ticket is sold.
Please explain the scenario when an email would be sent without a ticket being sold.
Cliff
MemberYou betcha! Thanks for checking 🙂

MemberHi Mariano. Thanks for considering our plugins!
We’ve got these instructions:
- Translating the premium plugins
- Translating The Events Calendar (free/core plugin)
Please reference that information and let me know if you need any further assistance.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi Jon. Sorry you’re experiencing this, and thanks for the link to your site.
I noticed console errors at your site: http://cl.ly/0z3O2k1n3O2R (the red-colored ones)
If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, would you mind enabling WP_DEBUG and sharing any messages you see while navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket?
After all that, please let us know if you think you’ve found a bug.
Thanks.

Regardless, could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

MemberHi Nick. Please purchase Community Events and then follow our Refund Policy for your PRO order# and we’ll process that via email.
Thanks!

MemberHi. I appreciate the link to your site, but I am not understanding your question.
Could you please clarify and, if possible, include a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
Thank you.
Cliff
