MemberSorry there wasn’t a changelog entry. I agree there should have been one. I submitted a Pull Request to correct this retroactively: https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/pull/1958/files
I updated the other thread you had going with Victor for tribe_get_linked_posts_by_post_type() not returning the correct information for all post types.
Sorry about this interaction causing you so much frustration. I’ve passed it along to a manager for review to help me improve in the future.
We wish you the best going forward.
May 1, 2018 at 11:51 am in reply to: tribe_get_linked_posts_by_post_type now returns empty array #1520479Cliff
MemberDavid, Victor tested the function against the Venues post type, which doesn’t allow multiple being attached to a single Event, which exposed a bug.
I’ve slotted this for an upcoming fix and, if it passes all the checks, it should be released soon (a month or so). We do not guarantee release dates so it may not be this time period.
Here’s the pull request for your reference, in case you want to modify your own core plugin files (generally not recommended but okay to do in this particular situation — just know any updates you do will wipe it out and you’d have to re-implement this fix): https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/pull/1957/files

MemberHi again, Atul.
Sorry this thread didn’t receive an answer until now, but we do not work the Help Desk during weekends, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
Our https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/integrating-events-calendar-slider-revolution-essential-grid/ article is provided to be helpful, of course, but we do not provide additional customization support, as mentioned in that article: https://cl.ly/2x2E113Y3I3u
For that shortcode, please refer to https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-single-events-tribe_event_inline-shortcode/
Finally, from experience I’d guess if a slider isn’t moving it’s either due to its settings or, more likely, due to a console error at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions (and the latest of your slider plugin), please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your live/production site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply.
That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberHi, Nicola. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
We do not provide a “bookings” solution. The closest thing we have–in concept–is tickets for recurring events… however, this functionality does not currently exist but is on our long-term roadmap.
Our ticketing product also doesn’t currently support PRO’s recurring events.
If you start to create a ticket for a recurring event, there will be a little question mark notice that reads:
Currently, tickets will only show up on the frontend once per full event. For PRO users this means the same ticket will appear across all events in the series. Please configure your events accordingly.
You should add your vote to this existing feature request for Event Tickets to support PRO’s recurring events.
Something some users are doing right now is using PRO’s recurring events to populate their events calendar but then breaking each occurrence from the series to turn them into single events — basically using PRO as an event generator but not actually using its recurring events functionality on the front-end. Others are just dealing with the tickets on recurring events even though you can’t then tell which occurrence they reserved the ticket for… use this information for your own reference but please don’t take it as any sort of recommendation.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
Last but not least, we have Bundles and a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi, Reinhard.
If I’m understanding your needs correctly, it sounds like you’d like a “pay to post” solution, which we do not offer.
I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/32689603-you-should-add-pay-to-submit-event
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.

MemberHi. I tested on both your site and my site and trying to add a zero quantity of WooCommerce tickets takes me to the WooCommerce Cart with a message that the cart is empty.
If you’re saying that you’d like to avoid this potential confusion and disallow clicking the button until the quantity is entered, here are some options:
1) Always set a quantity of 1:
https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/5b57df71be8b52f595817ddbf81acdab
2) Custom JS
You could add some custom JS to detect. I imagine the code snippet above could be used to point you in the right direction.

And/Or you could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

MemberHi. No, you cannot check-in a user multiple times.
I’m guessing you’re either not logged in or you’re logged into an account that doesn’t have the necessary permissions to check someone in.
Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-qr-codes-event-tickets-plus/#create_qr_user
Please let me know what you find out after doing some additional testing.

MemberHi, Clarence.
There’s no built-in functionality for a pricing structure like that.
You could change the price manually after a certain time, though.

MemberThanks for clarifying. I wasn’t able to replicate this just trying some URLs on my testing site.
Do all these links still work on a fresh install?
Or maybe some translations are at play here causing these?
I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

MemberDavid, here’s a video demonstrating it working with our Instructors Linked Post Type extension: https://cl.ly/3d3g1a1H3Y0S
Again, that extension is there as a working example of what can be done, not that all of its features need to be included in your fork of it.
Thank you for linking me to that other thread. I have requested clarification from Victor, and we’ll get to the bottom of things, whether there’s an environmental difference causing this or if his proof of concept code was lacking in some way. You’ll get a response at one or both of these threads once we figure that out.
Cliff
MemberThanks for your thorough sleuthing.
I have discovered a logged bug regarding this issue (it has to do with the _transient_tribe_attendees transient).
Here’s a temporary workaround snippet:
add_filter( 'tribe_tickets_attendees_admin_expire', 'custom_tickets_attendees_expire' ); add_filter( 'tribe_tickets_attendees_expire', 'custom_tickets_attendees_expire' ); function custom_tickets_attendees_expire () { // number of seconds return 10; }I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi, Ruben. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
This isn’t how our plugins work by default. Instead, each ticket (Event Tickets (ET) or Event Tickets Plus (ET+)) needs to be assigned to a post of another type, such as Events (default), Posts, Pages, YourCustomPostType, etc.
If your site visitors won’t be allowed to view the events until they purchase one of your tickets/access passes, then you could try some custom development. Maybe they have to login to their WordPress account, then they need to buy “credits” from your WooCommerce store, and then they are only allowed to view/visit your site’s Events if they have 1+ credits in their account.
Modern Tribe does full agency projects (tens of thousands of dollars) but not little customizations / tweaks for everyone’s different ways of wanting to use its plugins.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
Last but not least, we have Bundles and a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Cliff
MemberSorry if unclear, but the question was how are you finding these links? Are they appearing within Month View or wp-admin or one of our shortcode’s output?
Cliff
MemberSure thing.
Please note that threads get Closed automatically after a couple weeks of inactivity. If it does get Closed, please open a new thread, adding your current problem description and also linking back to this thread.
Thank you!
Cliff
MemberWould you be able to share an annotated screenshot, screen capture video, and/or relevant URLs to clarify exactly where you’re seeing these 2 other duplicate/redirect URLs?
