    Hello,

We’re going to be building a new website for the JCI Friesland, and will be looking to intergrate the sale of tickets into the site.
However, we’re looking for a slightly different customer journy then most sites would.

Normally you’d have an event that x free spots, and then you just sell a number of those tickets. We however are looking to do things a little differently:
We’re going to be selling a ticket first, and when a user has then bought a ticket, he / she will then be able to apply for an event. So the ticket they’re buying at first is pretty much a coupon.

So this way we can give away a ticket, and then let someone apply for an event of interest when they see one that they like.

    The only question is:
Is this already possible when using this plugin, or will this be a feature that isn’t supported by the plugin as a default?
And if it’s not in the default plugin, do you then offer customization services? And if so, how much would that sum up to?

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Best regards,
    Ruben Zuidervaart

Hi, Ruben. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.

This isn’t how our plugins work by default. Instead, each ticket (Event Tickets (ET) or Event Tickets Plus (ET+)) needs to be assigned to a post of another type, such as Events (default), Posts, Pages, YourCustomPostType, etc.

If your site visitors won’t be allowed to view the events until they purchase one of your tickets/access passes, then you could try some custom development. Maybe they have to login to their WordPress account, then they need to buy “credits” from your WooCommerce store, and then they are only allowed to view/visit your site’s Events if they have 1+ credits in their account.

Modern Tribe does full agency projects (tens of thousands of dollars) but not little customizations / tweaks for everyone’s different ways of wanting to use its plugins.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

Last but not least, we have Bundles and a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
