MemberHi David. Sorry you’re feeling overwhelmed.
I can tell you that the Events Manager plugins are not ours, but Event Tickets is.
Our plugin for creating events is The Events Calendar.
Are you trying to use Event Tickets Plus with WooCommerce with Events Manager’s events?

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
It’s hard to tell if this is your issue or not, but, once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please do strongly consider trying out this temporary plugin fix for runaway recurring events (a bug introduced in version 4.2.2 and fixed within a few days via version 4.2.2.1).
Please let me know how it goes for you (which one did you use?) or if you didn’t use either.

MemberHi, Somer.
FYI: In this forum we try to keep our threads focused on just one issue to ensure we answer each question. Therefore, I will answer your first question here, and you can open a new thread for your second question. Thanks for your understanding.
1)
Our ticket plugins do not natively support Recurring Events, which is what you’re running into. I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: Recurring Event Support for Tickets
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Thank you.

MemberHi Ingo. Thanks for your detailed question.
I tried it out on my local testing site in US English language (the default for our plugins), and I didn’t see the same issue: https://cl.ly/1J3G373j410H
It could be that the language files for your chosen language were translated incorrectly.
We have this information regarding translations:
- Translating the premium plugins
- Translating The Events Calendar (free/core plugin)
- How to Override Plugin Language Files (custom language files on your own site)
Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
I saw not all your plugins are up-to-date.
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

MemberAh, that would likely be a problem on your site (not a known bug).
I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberExcellent! Thanks for letting us know and being the go-between with the two plugins.
Cliff
MemberYou bet. Please let me know what you find out.
Please note that threads get Closed automatically after a couple weeks of inactivity. If it does get Closed, please open a new thread, adding your current problem description and also linking back to this thread.
Thank you!
Cliff
MemberRiccardo, you could use the shortcode or widget to accomplish this.
Also, regarding your suggestion, I didn’t find that as an existing feature request at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
Please do add your feature request there.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
Once you post it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

MemberAlex, we are 100% committed to supporting PRO’s recurring events functionality and will be releasing a code update soon to lay the foundation for Event Tickets / Plus to support recurring events. It is coming (pretty safe guess it’ll be before the end of the year), but we do not give out ETAs for any releases.
However, at this time, I cannot provide support for ET/ET+ with recurring events because it’s never been supported thus far.

MemberYou said, “Your countdown widget is by default UTC-4. Is this your time zone?” I don’t understand what that’s referring to. Could you please clarify?
Also, from your system information report, your WordPress Timezone is not set, and your server timezone is set to UTC.
Could you please set your WordPress Timezone at wp-admin > Settings > General and see if that affects anything?
Cliff
MemberSunny, please switch from using pre_get_posts to tribe_events_pre_get_posts instead (or you might need to hook that single function into both) and see if that works for you.
Cliff
MemberThanks for the screenshot. I can see that you have the quantity still set at zero. Please change it to “1”.
If you’d like, you can reference this snippet:
https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/58cb269145d7187a45f9761128fdf338
It changes the default quantity from 0 to 1.
Please let me know how things go for you.
Cliff
