ParticipantI know you guys are not keen on making any more upgrades to recurring events as you feel global stock works OK (it doesn’t really but I an work with it š …but I REALLY need the attendee lists to be broken down in the front-end reporting by date. At the moment they are all lumped into the first of the recurring dates. This means:
1) producers must download the complete list and sort/delete past and future events to get the dates they ACTUALLY need
2) when the first iteration of the event is over, users have to click on “past events” to get any of their data. This is confusing for them and causes a communication backlog here at the office. Please, please, please can this be looked at?? Obviously the best fix is a comprehensive revamp of recurring events but I received an email a couple weeks back that showed that you were no longer working on a fix of this kind.
Is there a snippet I can use or some coding I can add that would put the correct dates into the front-end lists?
Thanks.

MemberHi Alex.
I’m sorry to hear you’re frustrated about this.
If I’m not mistaken, I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests:Ā Recurring Event Support for Tickets
Please do add your voteĀ there.
This allows us to gaugeĀ interest in this particularĀ feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help with on this topic.

ParticipantThanks Cliff. I have voted for this one (and all the others on recurring events!) many, many, many times since 2014 š
In the meantime, I am trying to find a way to separate ticket buyers into the correct dates in the front end reporting and was hoping someone might help with a jumping off point. Lumping all the attendees into the first date just doesn’t work, especially when that first date has past and it is found in “past events”.
Given that recurring events is NOT being actively updated (I received an email a couple weeks ago that basically confirmed this), a fix for this is all I’m after.

MemberAlex, we are 100% committed to supporting PRO’s recurring events functionality and will be releasing a code update soon to lay the foundation for Event Tickets / Plus to support recurring events. It is coming (pretty safe guess it’ll be before the end of the year), but we do not give out ETAs for any releases.
However, at this time, I cannot provide support for ET/ET+ with recurring events because it’s never been supported thus far.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
