MemberThanks for those screenshots. That is odd.
If you manually enter
[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLJdzky63BA[/embed]into your post editor, does it work as expected?I tried it and it displays the Ben Hur trailer, as expected since visiting that link directly goes to that video on YouTube’s website. It did the same in both Events and Posts editors.
If you’re expecting it to go to a different video, it should not because that’s the video ID for the Ben Hur trailer.
Let me know…

MemberThanks for that info. I saw a code snippet at each of those links. Did using one of those make things work for you?
Cliff
MemberThanks for updating, testing, and the additional information.
So you have the Community rewrite slug set to “manage”
What if you change it back to the default of “community” – does it work then (having the backslash separator)?

MemberSorry to hear that. I’d guess you have a setting or plugin (other than ours) that is affecting this.
I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberYou bet!
Cliff
MemberSure. It’s possible via CSS or PHP customizations.
You can experience a demo of the form by clicking “Add Your Event” menu item at our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events/
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberYour site will send the request to our server, which will get the data and send it back to your site and then you can choose which items to import. In essence, it’ll appear to act the same as our existing (but soon to be “legacy”) iCal Importer add-on but get the data from our servers to minimize errors, inconsistencies, etc.
Besides these details, I’d ask that you wait for the release, which will be soon. 🙂

MemberYou can purchase the license you want now and upgrade later if you need to.
There isn’t any code difference between the different license levels, just different number of sites enabled for automatic updates and sites that we’ll support if you have any issues.
I hope this helps you get started with our plugin suite.
Cliff
MemberHi Rhonda. Our plugins don’t use YouTube. Did you mean to post this question here?
If yes, please provide additional context (links, annotated screenshots, system information, etc).
Thank you.
Cliff
MemberOk, then you might want to just try tribe_get_event_taxonomy() and see if that gets closer to what you want. It utilizes get_the_term_list()
To be clear, get_the_term_list() is used within tribe_get_event_taxonomy(), which is used within tribe_get_event_categories().
Cliff
MemberThanks for the extra information. Let’s wait to see what their support says…
Cliff
MemberHi Matthias.
I downloaded that .ics file and opened it in a text editor.
Our iCal Importer plugin stores/detects according to each event’s UID. You can see an example here: https://cl.ly/0n3G272i1x1A
It could be that, if you change the event in a certain way, this UID could get altered. Please play around and test that and let me know what you find out and we’ll go from there.
Thank you.
