Events page images displaying small after WordPress update

Hi,
For some reason the images on our Events pages are suddenly displaying as very small. The site has just had a WordPress update and this seems to have been the trigger. The images are showing at normal sizes in the List and Month view.

Images attached show current and previous view (different content of course).

Hi Abby.

I visited http://www.fortyfivedownstairs.com/wp2016/events/ and saw your images seem to all have dimensions of 89×89

Our plugin’s code says to display the image at 300×300, so your images changed in a way to make them all 89×89.

I’d suggest checking wp-admin > Settings > Media to make sure your image size settings are to your liking and then regenerating all your images via a third-party plugin (i.e. not guaranteed or supported by us), such as Simple Image Sizes, Regenerate Thumbnails, or another.

I hope this gets solved for you fairly quickly.

Thanks for getting back to me Cliff.
I’ve checked my media settings and they are set to 300 x 300px. I’ve tried regenerating thumbnails anyway, but that makes no difference. I’ve also tried uploading new images and that doesn’t seem to make any difference.
I would greatly appreciate any further ideas or insight from your end if that’s possible?

Sorry to hear that. I’d guess you have a setting or plugin (other than ours) that is affecting this.

I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:

Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

• Downloads / Version Numbers
• TEC Automatic Updates
• or TEC Manual Updates
• WordPress core updates

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
