MemberHi, Kerry. You posted in our Pre-Sales forum from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it.
We don’t answer support questions for The Events Calendar core/free or Event Tickets core/free or their paid add-ons in the Pre-Sales forum.
If you made your purchase(s) through a different user account, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums. Your licenses would then appear at https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/
Thank you for your understanding and thank you for using our plugins.

MemberHi Stephanie. Thanks for your interest in our products.
iCal Importer is now considered a legacy product. Event Aggregator (EA) is its replacement.
I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: Let users import events from other ECP installs via JSON/CRON
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Thank you.

MemberExcellent! 🙂
Cliff
MemberJohn, sorry to hear that.
You already have an Event Aggregator license in https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/, and I extended your license for it an extra 2 months for the troubles.
Please reference Moving to Event Aggregator to fully switch over to Event Aggregator (EA) and stop using iCal Importer.
Please let me know how EA works out for you!
Cliff
MemberThat makes more sense. I’m guessing your slider/featured section is limiting which post types it’s pulling from.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberThat comes from Line 750 in this file: /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/functions/template-tags/general.php –>
$tooltip .= sprintf( __( 'Recurring %s', 'tribe-events-calendar-pro' ), tribe_get_event_label_singular() );You can reference Change the wording of any bit of text or string for this string: ‘Recurring %s’
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
Cliff
MemberI tried to replicate this in my local testing site with French language and example.com/event/recurring-every-friday/tous/ works as expected.
Therefore, I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberPlease share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Cliff
MemberYou’re welcome. Thanks for your patience.

MemberRegarding the Tribe Bar, you said:
- current translation for Month View (tribe_is_month) is correct: “%1$s im %2$s”
- current translation for Day View (tribe_is_day) is grammatically wrong and should be “%1$s am %2$s” instead of “%1$s im %2$s”
However:
- Your site doesn’t have Day View enabled. It does have List View enabled and allows you to select a specific date, and “AM” is already displayed, as you desire: https://cl.ly/09380w182a29
- And “IN” is displayed when choosing a month: https://cl.ly/303z3n252R1F
So is there actually an error/issue here???
Thanks for clarifying.
Cliff
MemberI don’t know of any custom field plugin that conflicts with our plugins, but could you please provide a link to the plugin you’re inquiring about so we can be on the same page?
Cliff
MemberI noticed this:
- The .ics file from alexmncalendar.com/events/ical has Denver timezone.
- The one from your Google Drive link has Chicago timezone.
If that’s the way you think it’s supposed to be, let’s move forward…
===
You said Blox is importing from alexmncalendar.com/events/ical, but then you said, “The Events Calendar (TEC) is importing the ICS file from Blox with the same starting and ending time for events.”
- So is Blox importing from TEC and TEC is importing from Blox?
- Is your TEC site running Event Aggregator (EA) or our legacy iCal Importer?
