MemberYou could request this as a new feature at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

MemberOh, my mistake.
Actually, the Category shortcode argument was released as part of version 4.3.3 earlier this month.
A shortcode example is available at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/#common
However, it doesn’t currently support multiple categories, and you need to use the Events Category’s slug, not the ID or the name.
Please reference it and let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi Evan.
This functionality isn’t currently available.
I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/16691548-expand-tribe-events-shortcode-capabilities-to-in
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Thank you.

MemberHi. Nico is out today.
If Google Translate was accurate…
We no longer sell Facebook Importer. It was replaced by Event Aggregator. It’s more expensive than Facebook Importer used to be, but it does a lot more.
When Event Aggregator was released a couple months ago, we gave everyone with an iCal Importer and Facebook Importer license a new license to Event Aggregator (expired at the same time).
You can renew Event Aggregator at https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/
I hope this information helps.
If you have any follow-up questions, Nico will likely be the one to handle your reply.
Thanks!

MemberHi Marsha / Eric,
Thanks for the detailed information and sorry you’re experiencing this.
It’s hard to tell if this is your issue or not, but, once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please do strongly consider trying the fix for runaway recurring events (a bug introduced in version 4.2.2 and fixed within a few days via version 4.2.2.1).
You can reference these code snippets to help determine if this is your problem and how to go about resolving it in your database: tribe-extension-recurring-cleanup.zip (Recurring Events fixer plugin wp-admin page preview)
Please let me know how it goes for you.
November 28, 2016 at 10:55 am in reply to: Reoccuring events setting overides 'include in main blog loop' setting… #1198577Cliff
MemberHi Chris.
I didn’t understand the last 2 paragraphs.
Could you please provide some links and/or annotated screenshots to help me make sure I’m fully understanding your issue?
Cliff
MemberHi, Jo. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
I’d first suggest making sure your WordPress General Settings have the timezone set.
If that doesn’t help… this isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberHi Miguel.
Sorry you’re experiencing this.
That link loaded the “login” screen for me.
If it’s still causing the issue for you, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while navigating your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

MemberThanks for clarifying. I was able to confirm this. Thanks for the bug report.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
