MemberHi, Paul.
I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17455246-tribe-events-shortcode-support-multiple-categories
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Thank you.

MemberHi, Maaike.
Thanks for your detailed question.
This is likely due to Avada theme and its template files not yet updated for our latest versions of The Events Calendar and Event Tickets. It can take them some time (days or even weeks if it’s a big release like this one was) to issue such an update.
Please discuss this issue with Avada’s support and let me know how that goes.
Thank you.

MemberWe do not provide ETAs, but I can tell you the two internal WPML tickets aren’t set for any specific release yet. Therefore, it could be a few months at the earliest unless there’s some major internal WPML push to skip these tickets to the front of the line.
However, I will share your request for urgency with the development/planning team to hopefully speed things up for you.
Thanks for your understanding and patience 🙂

MemberFYI: I generated you a new license for Event Aggregator. You can see it at https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/

MemberHi. Thanks for reporting this. Sorry you’re experiencing it.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
FYI: At this time (not guaranteed to be the final-released version), here’s the proposed solution, if you’re interested in quick-fixing it yourself: https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/pull/1232/files

MemberI’m glad that worked well for you!
The your-site/event/the-event-title/tickets link will only work for people who have purchased a ticket and are logged in… so I’m guessing the account you’re logged in with didn’t reserve a ticket to this event.
Please clarify if this is the case or if there’s possibly a different issue.
Cliff
MemberI’m glad to hear you’re all sorted out.
Thanks for letting me know.
January 10, 2017 at 12:44 pm in reply to: Will aggregator do automatic imports from another ECP installation? #1216075Cliff
MemberThanks for your candid feedback. I’ve passed it along to management.
From internal discussions, I know this will eventually arrive. However, the only workaround now is to use Site A’s iCal export into Site B’s Event Aggregator import. We’ve heard of quite a few who find it sufficient. That UserVoice idea would help with things like syncing categories, entire series of recurring events, and other fine-grain details.
To include more events than normal in the iCal export (from Site A), here’s an installable .zip file (install it at your Plugins screen) that adds two URLs:
- example.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=recently-published
- example.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=year
The first is useful when folks are trying to use the iCal importer to pull events from one website to another. It will contain any recently published or modified events. Note: It is subject to the postsperpage setting in WP-Admin > Events > Settings.
The second exports this year’s events (from January through December).
If preferable, there’s a code snippet to share just the events one year out from today. Let me know if this plugin works for you or if you want the code for exporting one year from today.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Michael.
I’m sorry to hear of the troubles you’re experiencing.
The license keys do not affect any of the plugins’ functionality. Without license keys, you’ll be notified of new plugin updates but not able to actually receive/install them.
Therefore, if you’re experiencing any other issues, as you described, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.

Regarding getting charged more than once, please visit https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/ and, if necessary, please submit the Refund Request Form and your refund request will be handled via email.
We’ll handle getting your Community Events up and running in this thread.
Thanks.

MemberHi, Daniel.
We’ve seen other users report this, but we haven’t been able to reproduce it just yet.
Our developers are working on it as a potential hotfix.

This isn’t related to a currently-known issue (except for Windows servers) so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

January 10, 2017 at 8:52 am in reply to: Legacy imported events show in event calendar backend but not on events page? #1215946Cliff
MemberHi, Jennifer.
Might the events in WordPress be in Draft status or otherwise not-yet-Published?
Could you please send me some screenshots of what you’re seeing in wp-admin — anything you think might be helpful
It might also help to send me the link to an Eventbrite event that did work and then one that did not work. More than one of each type is fine if you prefer.
Thanks!
