MemberOK. Glad to hear and thanks for letting us know.
Cliff
Member1) Glad to hear that.
2) That sounds like an issue with the site itself, not specific to our plugins.
There’s a number of such issues reported at https://wordpress.org/support/topic-tag/http_request_failed/ so you may look for insight there. Likely, you might need to discuss this with that site’s host.
Please let me know what you find out.

MemberHi, Sally. I took a look at your customization request, and it seems you’re wanting what we already do by default. Here’s a video demonstrating what I experience at my test site: https://cl.ly/1C3l2t0l310A
Please review it closely and let me know if you’re seeing something different or if I misunderstood your request.
Thank you.

MemberHi again, Lucy.
We don’t typically help with styling, per our Scope of Support / Terms, but you can give this a try and use it as a starting point if you need to customize it further:
body.tribe_community_edit .tribe-community-events { background-color: lightblue; }You can add custom CSS code via your child theme’s style.css file, via WordPress 4.7’s Customizer CSS settings, or via a third-party plugin (not guaranteed or supported by us), like:
- SiteOrigin CSS (helps you visually build CSS selectors via its Inspector and Visual Editor, if that’ll help you)
- Simple Custom CSS
- Jetpack (supports regular CSS and the LESS and Sass pre-processors)
If you’re not a CSS expert, Jetpack’s Custom Design reference may prove helpful.
Please let me know how it goes for you.

MemberHi, Lucy. Happy to help with this small customization:

Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/implementing-custom-code-snippets/ for how to implement custom code snippets.
Please let me know how this goes for you.
Cliff
MemberHi, Josh. I’m unsure if this existing snippet will also apply for the situation you’re wanting, but you might give it a shot:

Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/implementing-custom-code-snippets/ for how to implement custom code snippets.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your live/production site — particularly for this snippet since it will change Products’ visibility settings.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberOh, whoops, my mistake. I saw “tribe_events” but you did say “tribe_events_list” — good catch!
The event category archive views should already be displaying their upcoming events. Is this not working for you?
Cliff
MemberHi. I see you’re using RSVP tickets for the free one; you cannot set a price for RSVP tickets.
And you’re using Tribe Commerce PayPal tickets for the paid ticket; you cannot set these to be free.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
Cliff
MemberHi. Thanks for your detailed question.
Each event’s featured image is what gets used by default.
Related Events come from this Template file (our “how-to” walk-through video may be helpful, too) — /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/related-events.php
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi. We can’t provide such a customization, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/ for the shortcode arguments (also note there is no “limit” argument), and let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Sara. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
Our plugin creates one master calendar, but you can create the appearance of multiple calendars by using Event Categories.
Examples:
- main/master calendar where all the site’s events appear: http://wpshindig.com/events/
- WP Meetups category calendar: http://wpshindig.com/events/category/wp-meetups/
- Learning category calendar: http://wpshindig.com/events/category/learning/
There are additional methods and documentation at our Can You Have Multiple Calendars? KB article.

Note that this functionality is available in the free/core version of The Events Calendar. You would only need to buy one of our add-ons if you wanted those extra features (e.g. Map View from Events Calendar PRO).
Last but not least, we have Bundles and a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberThanks for letting us know. No problem at all. For future reference, we have this information regarding translations:
- Translating the premium plugins
- Translating The Events Calendar (free/core plugin)
- How to Override Plugin Language Files (custom language files on your own site)
- Customizing/Changing any bit of text (actual code snippet is at the very bottom) — or using the Say what? plugin (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us) might be easier to setup and use to do the same thing as our provided code snippet
Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

MemberYou bet.
I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
