Kristina, I checked with our manager and this does fall out of our scope of support.

If you need some coding help, you can reference the link I previously shared.

    Thank you for your understanding.

Hi, Ellen. It works for me. Here’s a short video of my testing: https://cl.ly/3V2q0D1v222s

Please let me know how this goes for you.

Gene, as stated before, I was unable to replicate this behavior.

Since this isn’t currently a known issue or being reported by others to my knowledge, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

After making sure you’re on the latest versions of WordPress and all your plugins and themes, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please re-share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Hi. I’m very sorry for the delayed communication here.

It’s an issue our developers are still investigating as it seems to be a variety of possible things–i.e., multiple possible reasons for scheduled imports not working.

Hopefully by tomorrow we’ll have some results from their digging. At the least, I hope to be able to update you with an expectation for how long it might be to have a fix.

Do you have any WP_DEBUG messages or other error_log messages to accompany these failed imports? They may be helpful for our developers to better understand your specific situation.

    Hi, Colleen.

I appreciate your question and the desire to customize it for your use. However, we do not provide styling customization support as part of our Scope of Support / Terms.

I did give it an investigation, though, and found out:

#tribe-events-bar has height:auto; which is 111px. Overriding that to 80px and then adding height:90px to #tribe-bar-form and height:130px to #tribe-bar-views makes it look like this: https://cl.ly/1U0I2G270U35

I see #tribe-events-bar has margin-bottom:60px so removing that too makes it look like this: https://cl.ly/3p0n3q0j3n2m

Part of the reason we do not provide styling is because the info I provided may not be correct for all browser screen widths (i.e. responsive styling), but I hope this information helps.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

P.S. I also noticed two console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

    1. https://cl.ly/1K170h3d0a0E – not sure what it’s from, exactly
    2. You should enter a Google Maps API key in The Events Calendar settings.

I’m glad it is clear now.

    🙂

Please create a new thread for your other issue, as this thread is tied to the bug report I mentioned.

We try to keep each thread focused on a single issue. If you share an annotated screenshot or video screen capture, it might help communicate what you’re seeing and what exactly the issue is.

Wendy, the internal bug tracker status for this item has not changed since.

It is a low-priority bug that is likely to eventually get fixed.

Please continue using our plugins as-is.

If there’s a major reason why the wp-admin notice is a negative thing besides a visual nuisance to just you, please do let me know. If not, it is safe to ignore.

Gregg, one of our developers and I looked into this and our best guess is that the Yoast SEO plugin may be adding those links to the non-existent next pages of the category archives, in which case you’ll want to contact their support directly. Sorry we couldn’t be of more help in this.

Skimming through, that file looks good.

It should be located at /re-job.nl/wp-content/themes/x-child/tribe-events/single-event.php, just as you said (assuming you’re working on the correct server and file path for this site)…

If you move tribe-events to be a sub-directory of the twenty-seventeen theme, does it work then? If yes, move it to be a sub-directory of the X parent theme directory and see if it works there.

In our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future and start a new thread for your additional questions from this thread. Thanks for your understanding, and we’ll keep this thread to your initial issue.

Please let me know if you have additional questions regarding your initial issue.

Also, if you do create a new thread for your other issue, please do include actual links, annotated screenshots, and/or a screen capture video, as the issue wasn’t quite clear to me.

    Ah, good catch.

I updated the gist. See after the array() now; it does not need the dot-equals.

I’m glad this worked well for you!

Carel, it worked fine for me in my testing.

Either you did it correctly and your website still has it cached or you didn’t do it correctly.

I’d suggest activating a different theme (e.g. X parent theme) and then immediately re-activating your X child theme to tell WP to reload the site fresh from the files.

I hope this will get it working for you. Let me know.

You can add custom CSS code via your child theme’s style.css file or via a third-party plugin (not guaranteed or supported by us), like:

    • SiteOrigin CSS (helps you visually build CSS selectors via its Inspector and Visual Editor, if that’ll help you)
    • Simple Custom CSS
    • Jetpack (supports regular CSS and the LESS and Sass pre-processors)

If you’re not a CSS expert, Jetpack’s Custom Design reference may prove helpful.

Please let me know how it goes for you.
