MemberHi, Sied. In the past 4 months, 2 other users have reported this as well, but it’s not classified as a high priority bug.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi, Andrea. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
Our free/core The Events Calendar plugin doesn’t have any integration with bbPress, but if you want your WordPress users (or even non-registered/anonymous visitors) to be able to add events to your site’s calendar, we sell the Community Events add-on.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/15842926-duplicate-tickets
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.

MemberHi, Grace.
Thanks for reporting that error. I fixed that link to instead point to https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/accessing-linking-community-events-pages/
Hopefully that KB article will answer your remaining questions. (Really, it’s just finding your Community Events “Add New” URL and adding it as a Custom Link in your WordPress Menu.)
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Sally. I couldn’t replicate this behavior, so I’m guessing it’s something specific to your theme (or maybe even another active plugin).
We just released another update today (although not related to the issue you’re reporting). Still, could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please switch to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Fifteen, Twenty Sixteen, Twenty Seventeen, etc. and test your Photo View again.
If it now works, please report the issue to your theme author’s support.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberHi, Steve.
Our plugin creates one master calendar, but you can create the appearance of multiple calendars by using Event Categories.
Examples:
- main/master calendar where all the site’s events appear: http://wpshindig.com/events/
- WP Meetups category calendar: http://wpshindig.com/events/category/wp-meetups/
- Learning category calendar: http://wpshindig.com/events/category/learning/
There are additional methods and documentation at our Can You Have Multiple Calendars? KB article.
Note that this functionality is available in the free/core version of The Events Calendar. You would only need to buy one of our add-ons if you wanted those extra features (e.g. Map View from Events Calendar PRO).
Another example, from Filter Bar (since you mentioned it), is http://wpshindig.com/events/month/?tribe_eventcategory=25 — you could insert a link like that in your site’s main navigation (or wherever you want).
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi, Marie. Thanks for your detailed request.
Any XML-RPC stuff would be native to WordPress. In other words, our plugin doesn’t add any additional XML-RPC integration for you to leverage.
We do have a read-only REST API. It’s planned to have it support all CRUD operations, but that’s a “someday” thing, since the read-only implementation first rolled out recently.
If using PHP, you could reference https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.5.10/src/Tribe/API.php
Coming full circle back to XML-RPC, you could reference our API file or simply create a new event manually via wp-admin and then study how the post is saved and how the post meta is used (e.g. start date, start date UTC, time zone, etc.)
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Mary.
This might be related to a bug we fixed just a few minutes ago. Please download the latest version of The Events Calendar and see if it affects anything here for you.
If it doesn’t solve the issue for you…
Please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi, Gina.
If I’m understanding the situation thoroughly, you should referencer our Themer’s Guide to override /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php, in which you could add your own check via tribe_is_event_category
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
