    Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying.

    Initially, I understood you were reporting your Divi site-wide header to be loading after the map. I requested access to your site to see your Divi layouts; however, by the time I got access, the header was no longer on the page.

    Now I see that this is text entered in a Divi module that’s before the shortcode and the map part of the shortcode renders before it. This is a confirmed bug.

    Additionally, the map view renders in the wp-admin event edit screen, as stated in my September 20 reply.

    Both of these bugs are logged with our developers. I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

    I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Excellent. Recurring events is only available via our Events Calendar PRO add-on, but it also adds quite a few other features, such as Map View, Photo View, and Additional Fields.

    We have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

    I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Hi, Sean. No, this isn’t currently possible.

    You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

    This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

    If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

    That being said, we are releasing a PDF Tickets extension later this month that will, in your example, attach 10 different PDFs to that single email.

    I can’t get into more details about it now, but I’ll add this thread to the list to be updated once this extension is published so you can try it out and see if it at least makes things better for you.

    Hi, Tevya. Sorry this is causing you frustration.

    The Buy Now button, specifically, was added recently (in June: https://theeventscalendar.com/introducing-buy-now-buttons/).

    Regarding the Display Settings (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wp-admin-settings-overview/#display), the Stylesheet option shouldn’t have added a sidebar, since it’s just the styling. However, if you change the Template option, that’s basically switching from our plugin’s template to whatever your current theme’s template is. Some themes have a sidebar included by default; some don’t; and some themes (not Divi) sort of break when set to this option.

    With those overview details out of the way…

    The Buy Now Button actually has no styling. The ugly (I agree) gray is because it’s the browser default styling: https://cl.ly/1e0R0R0V1U2X

    Typically, themes have default styling for buttons, which would take over their display in this case. I’d suggest reporting this to Divi and/or add your own styling.

    You can add custom CSS code via your child theme’s style.css file, via WordPress 4.7’s Customizer CSS settings, or via a third-party plugin (not guaranteed or supported by us), like:

    • SiteOrigin CSS (helps you visually build CSS selectors via its Inspector and Visual Editor, if that’ll help you)
    • Simple Custom CSS
    • Jetpack (supports regular CSS and the LESS and Sass pre-processors)

    If you’re not a CSS expert, Jetpack’s Custom Design reference may prove helpful.

    Please let me know how it goes for you.

    Hi, Derek.

    Sorry for any confusion here.

    I looked into your account and your 100 Imports license key is now inactive, as expected.

    I also see it’s no longer in use at your site. Your 1,000 Imports license key is connected so I’m guessing you figured things out… that you need to go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > Licenses and remove the key for 100 and replace it with the key for 1,000.

    If you’ve already done this, which it looks like you have, everything should be working now.

    Please let me know the current status of this on your site.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Sarah.

    With the situation of event creators “spamming” via categories and tags, limiting the choices would definitely be a great feature.

    All our selections are either already this Select2 type of field that you see now or likely will be in the future… so the best I can recommend is trying to find reasons to like it.

    That being said, for this use case, limiting the allowed choices is a great idea. I looked into Select2 and it actually has this functionality: https://select2.org/selections#limiting-the-number-of-selections

    Unfortunately, that documentation applies to a version newer than the version we’re including in our plugin and therefore you cannot use that nifty option. I’ve filed an internal feature request to update the version of Select2 that’s included so that this Select2 option can be utilized via the Community Events form.

    Until then (which likely won’t be anytime soon for unrelated reasons), I suggest referencing https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/required-fields-for-events-submission-form/ and maybe add some validation there. I know you can require the field, but I’m unsure if that’ll also let you do additional checks on it like failing validation if more than X event categories are selected.

    To remove the Tags field, follow my “#2” in my reply to that other thread you linked to: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/bring-back-checkboxes-for-event-categories-remove-event-tags-cost/#post-1359342

    Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

    I forgot to mention that you should make the first change by following our Themer’s Guide so you don’t lose this customization again in the future with each update.

    And in case you don’t know how to add custom CSS to your site:

    Thanks for clarifying.

    https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.6.1/src/views/month/single-event.php#L196 — turns out to still be Line 196…

    Replace this:

    <a href="<?php echo esc_url( $link ) ?>" class="url"><?php echo $title ?></a>

    with this:

    <?php echo $title ?>

    If you want the “Continue reading” link removed from the tooltips, please also add this custom CSS to your site:

    body.post-type-archive-tribe_events #tribe-events-content.tribe-events-month .tribe-events-tooltip p.link-more {
    display: none !important;
    }

    Please let me know how this goes for you.

    Ken, I think asking questions along those lines is the wrong direction. You shouldn’t be seeing this. Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate other plugins and custom code) to work the process of elimination to determine what’s causing this to happen on your site.

    Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
