MemberOh, great, thanks for that.
I was able to replicate your screenshot, with the “Month” overlap. However, the CSS from that other thread did work for me.
If it’s not working for you, it might need some additional CSS specificity.
Feel free to share the link to where I can see this happening on your site (without your own customizations in place), and I’ll see if I can figure out the full CSS specific to your site.
Cliff
MemberThanks for sharing what worked for you.
I didn’t experience this on our demo site. Would you be able to share an annotated screenshot or screen capture video from our demo site to clarify exactly what’s happening here?

MemberHi, Aaron.
Please reference https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.6.1/src/views/single-event.php#L37
That function includes the tribe_events_event_schedule_details_inner filter, which is probably what you should use: https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.6.1/src/functions/template-tags/general.php#L1080

MemberThanks for sharing your experience.
One thought about the checkbox is if you had scheduled imports possibly already in the WP Cron and maybe it would have no longer been sending requests after those already scheduled had completed.

MemberHi, Lindsey.
This is caused by your theme and/or custom styling.
However, this custom CSS should give you what you want:
body.single-tribe_events .fusion-events-featured-image .fusion-events-single-title-content { position: static; }Please let me know how this goes for you.
October 9, 2017 at 7:08 pm in reply to: Direct searches, categories and tags to filtered Event Calendar view #1361354Cliff
MemberHi, Shane.
These are the URLs generated by our demo site’s Filter Bar:
- http://wpshindig.com/events/month/?tribe_tags=57
And the Tribe Bar’s keyword search is http://wpshindig.com/events/month/?tribe-bar-search=meetup
Are these not the URLs your site is generating?
If not, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
October 9, 2017 at 6:53 pm in reply to: Single Woocommerce ticket "product" for event with multiple ticket types #1361351Cliff
MemberHi, Adam. By default, the ticket products do not appear in the WooCommerce shop. Are you wanting them to appear?
If you do want one to appear (instead of none), would it matter which of the tickets would be the one to appear in the shop (e.g. the first ticket created)? By default, all the ticket products, if showing in the shop, should actually link to the single event page.

MemberHi, Joseph.
I tried visiting that link but it said:
This site can’t be reached
http://www.newtonarbitraton.com’s server DNS address could not be found.
Would you be able to share a screen capture video to clarify exactly what’s happening here?

October 9, 2017 at 6:36 pm in reply to: Syncing (live and updated) events to a calendar export, so the calendar is fluid #1361348Cliff
MemberHi, Shane.
If you’re integrating with a mobile app, you’d probably want to utilize our REST API: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/introduction-events-calendar-rest-api/
If you are wanting iCal sync capabilities, one of these may help:

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberMissing some desired functionality plus experiencing a few bugs is understandably cause for some frustration. Our development and strategy team aims to be a great overall solution and sometimes certain things don’t get addressed as certain use cases would like. Hopefully this makes sense even if it’s not ideal. I am personally sympathetic and understand the frustration.
For this specific topic, until Facebook supports this functionality in their API, we can’t handle this. We’ll leave it in Pending Fix status but it might be for a long while.

MemberHi, Chris. Just checking in and letting you know this is still on our developers’ to-do list. Sorry it’s taking longer than we’d wish it to. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
In its investigation, our development team referenced https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/20316 and stated it’s relevant because WordPress only does garbage collection once there is a WP DB update, which means that it doesn’t happen often.
One idea you might want to try is WP-Sweep (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us).
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
