GuestDear Sir,
I installed the free version of The Events Calendar. I have seen that it is possible to display Posts and Events (within the same “feed”) in one “page”. But is this also possible andat the same time excluda an Events Category?
I also have Beaver Builder, which the alpha version 2.0 includes the Events Calendar. They do not offer above… or do you guys now a work-around?
Thanks,

MemberHi, Guy. You posted in our Pre-Sales forum from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it.
We don’t answer support questions for The Events Calendar core/free or Event Tickets core/free or their paid add-ons in the Pre-Sales forum.
If you made your purchase(s) through a different user account, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.
Thank you for your understanding and thank you for using our plugins.

Possibly helpful information:
The relevant bit of code is at https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.6.1/src/Tribe/Query.php#L176-L195
You could leverage that tribe_events_pre_get_posts action hook if you want to customize it in some way via code.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

GuestHi Cliff,
This is a “Pre-Sales question”, which obviously means that I want to buy, but need an answer to my needs before I can decide if The Events Calendar is for me.
I would appreciate an answer.
Thanks,

MemberSorry I misunderstood your request, Guy.
The information I provided actually is the same regardless because custom coding falls outside our Scope of Support / Terms. Still, we do our best to point users in the right direction for any custom coding they might want to do, which is the only way to accomplish what you’re asking.
Additionally, none of this would require adding any of our paid products.
Are you interested in one of our paid products for reasons other than displaying The Events Calendar’s events (except those in a specified category) alongside Posts within the Blog Loop?

GuestYes, I am interested in you paid products, especially the possibility of recurring events.

MemberExcellent. Recurring events is only available via our Events Calendar PRO add-on, but it also adds quite a few other features, such as Map View, Photo View, and Additional Fields.
We have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
