MemberHello troull88,
Thanks for contacting us!
From what I can tell from this event, the recurring issues are now off. http://nightsout.gr/event/zouganeli-dinami/
I’m assuming you turned them off because of this undesired effect. I just mentioned it because it may be more difficult to troubleshoot with it turned off. We’ll get it figured out though!
I’m not able to reproduce this on my end. The top individual link is linked to that single event.
And the bottom link is linked to the recurring event’s ‘All’ page
Does this make sense? Can I get some more info or can you make them recursive again?
Also, can you post the translation problem in the translation forum? We’d love to help you troubleshoot there!
Cheers!

Is there a particular calendar view you want to change? If you can give me a little more detail I’d love to help you out!

MemberHello efromdc,
1: From what I can tell, it sounds like the website field will be changed as of 3.6. We will be releasing a secondary maintenance release today, so I would wait for that and then you shouldn’t have an issue.
2: The jump from 3.4 to 3.5 was large and there were schema changes, particularly concerning the way we stored recursive issues. There is no schema change in the 3.6 update
3: Here are some screenshots/threads that will hopefully answer your questions!
- Date picker https://cloudup.com/c1pUr0LMvY9
- Custom inputs https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/cant-add-custom-filter-per-your-tutorial/
- Datepicker namespacing https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/eventbrite-not-importing-event-date-and-ignoring-original-formatting/.
- Microformats info https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/microformats-missing-summary-errors/.
- CSS change info https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/3-5-responsive-views-trying-again/.
- Yes, in the 3.6 users now have full customization of all date formats.
4: Both tags and categories can now be used to filter the list
5: We will have our demo site WP Shindig updated sometime this week.
I hope this helps! The absolute best way to learn about the update is to install it on a test or development instance and take it for a spin!
Cheers!

MemberHello hound,
Today we are releasing a 3.6.1 hotfix that might possibly correct this issue. We’ve seen several reports of the mini calendar widget not functioning properly. I’m not sure it fix yours, but let’s wait to see if it does before moving forward.
The update should be released imminently.
Cheers!

MemberHello grahamstacey,
I’m not sure what the issue was, but I logged in to your test site and updated the core plugin to 3.6. The widget now works as expected, as it is the only ‘On the homepage’ plugin.
Can you update the plugin on your live site, to see if that will fix the issue.
As always, please make sure you have a recent backup of your site before you start! I’m assuming nothing bad will happen, but better to be safe than sorry.
Additionally, you may want to wait until later today, as we are releasing a 3.6.1 hotfix imminently.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!

MemberHello mending,
That link is no longer live and it appears The Events Calendar isn’t installed on that site.
As we’ve mentioned several times in this thread and others, along with having it posted on the front page of the forums, that level of customization goes well beyond the scope of the forums.
As I’ve stated, we will be looking into updating the Week view to better handle this situation, along with updating our documentation to allow better help with customizing the view. We thank you for bringing this to our attention as it is a shortcoming of our plugin.
However, the javascript, styling and markup in the Week view is very advanced, and we are unable to help you customize this on the forums.
For now, I encourage you to share your idea of your advanced Week view on our UserVoice forum, or contact an development agency for assistance with your customizations.
Good luck on your customized view. I am closing this thread as it is out of the scope of the forums.
Cheers!

MemberHello literarychicago,
Thanks for your cooperation! I’m sorry you had to change themes too. Wu Wei seemed popular at one time, but it hasn’t been updated in two years. A lot has changed in the WordPress world since then; you likely would have found other conflicts along the way.
The editor doesn’t control the tooltip formatting, but the text should still be left aligned. This is how it looks on my site.
From what I can tell from your screenshots, your tooltips are left aligned as well. Can you upload another or point out where I am mistaken?
Thanks!

Sorry I couldn’t give you a better answer! I’ll reopen this thread once we implement a solution.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Let us know if we can help with anything else.

MemberHello funinjerusalem,
That’s actually really great to hear. Once the conflict is narrowed down, it is much simpler to fix!
The javascript console errors show that it can’t find the right element to ‘slice’ and there for can’t make the tooltip.
What theme are using, is it one you are making in house?
Do you have a template override folder in your theme? It would be a directory called ‘tribe-events’ in the root of your active theme. Our Themer’s Guide will give you more info on template overrides.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

MemberHello andrewbacon,
Can you please confirm that after executing these combined steps in order, the problem still exists?
- Deactivate ALL plugins
- Change theme to Twentytwelve, Twentythirteen or Twentyfourteen
- Activate The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro
- Save your permalinks in WP-Admin > Settings > Permalinks
Then click on the ‘Events’ button in the admin bar. Do you still get a 404?
If you still get a 404 on this normalized system, there is either a bug with our code or some other problem in your system.
If the calendar page appears, there was either a conflict with your theme or plugins or our plugin was activate improperly.
If the calendar page does come back, feel free to reactivate the other plugins and switch back to your theme. Be sure to check the ‘calendar’ page after each change though (refresh on second tab for expediency).
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!
