Ok all set now š
Casey DMemberHello georghi,
Thanks for contacting us, I can confirm this is not working on your site.
There may be some sort of AJAX failure, as that DOM element is just empty.
Can you walk through this tut, and see if the problem persists?
Thanks!

August 11, 2014 at 2:29 pm in reply to: Event List shows either Events in this Country / Overseas Events #642138Casey DMemberHello sleggat,
Thanks for contacting us!
Some sort of taxonomy here is absolutely the best solution; categories are probably the best.
Off the top of my head, what you probably want to do is look into the ‘save_post()‘ action. You would do a check on the country, then assign a tribe_cat to the $post.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!

Casey DMemberHello flawlessvictory,
Thanks for contacting us and bringing this to our attention!
We are working on a new website for our plugins, probably launching in the next few months.
We have been moving a few features over to the core The Events Calendar.
Most of that list is still accurate, besides the things you have mentioned. Exclusive to PRO is: recurring events, several unique views (map, photo, week), and 3 additional widgets. There are a number of smaller features (default content, additional fields) and of course support as well.
Does this help? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

Casey DMemberHello gyse69,
Thanks for contacting us!
I was able to navigate months on Chrome and Safari on OS X. There was a ‘test event’ in July and two ‘Parking Space’ events in October.
Do you have more specifics, or different expectations?
Thanks!

Casey DMemberHello Ian,
Thanks for contacting us!
1) Unfortunately recurring event tickets are not currently covered by any of our ticketing solutions. But WooCommerce is very powerful overall, so you can probably find a solution through them.
2) That isn’t a feature supported out of the box, but we do support coupons. There may be a WooCommerce extension that does this.
3) Not out of the box.
4) Possibly. We have ticket ‘types’. So people can see how many ‘leader’ and ‘follower’ spots are taken. You can’t pair people with our solution though.
These are all really great ideas. If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to ourĀ UserVoiceĀ forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.
Sorry I couldn’t help you more! Cheers!

Casey DMemberHello m4mwebman,
Thanks for contacting us!
If we approved you, you are pretty much good for life. Sorry you haven’t been getting our update emails.
If you could contact us at [email protected], we can reestablish your involvement.
WooTickets is by far our most popular ticketing solution, and is more than capable of handling an event of that size (server and WordPress configuration permitting).
WooTickets is involved in our Non-Profit program for free.

Casey DMemberHello chriswerstiuk,
Thanks for contacting us!
This was indeed an intentional feature released in 3.7. Users can navigate the current month, and any month that has events on it.
Previously, a webcrawler like Google would find every month as it’s own link, cause some SEO headaches. This alleviates that problem.
I see on your second comment, that you added a recurring event and it doesn’t show. That may be a bug, or it may be a conflict. Can you walk through this conflict tut, and see if the problem persists?

Casey DMemberHello hrjutydnhg,
Thanks for contacting us!
Unfortunately our plugins don’t offer that type of functionality. You may want to check out a plugin likeĀ http://www.s2member.com/

Casey DMemberHello menued,
Thanks for contacting us!Ā If you check out ourĀ Themer’s Guide, you could probably make a template override to display what you want.
Specifically, in ‘views/pro/map.php’ you can switch the order of the components.

Casey DMemberHello shaewebdinercom,
The above information will apply to the list widget as well.
Check out those filters, and search/replace for you dates and add you html around it.
Good luck!

Casey DMemberHello persyst,
I missed out an obvious point, sorry.
The map only shows events listed on that page. Your two events aren’t listed on the first page, so they aren’t on the map.
If you go here they are listed on the second page:Ā http://cypherspot.com/events/?tribe_paged=2
You can fix this by increasing the number of events per page in you WP-Admin > Event Settings > General tab. There is also a forum thread that explains how to query for all mapped events, to show all of them even if they are not on the page. That is a very computationally expensive operation though of course, depending on how many events you have.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

Casey DMemberHello flawlessvictory,
Talked to a dev and got a good response!
We have many customers with a lot of previous events, so if there were sorted by straight ASC of the _EventStartDate, you’d have to page through all the past events first.
So let’s say you land your results in the middle of your ASC sort, with the past behind you. Then brings in a question of pagination. WP_Table isn’t quite built for that, and while it would be somewhat easy to implement, it would involve the same feature polish and testing of all our other features. Its an unspoken request competing with many other requests, which is why we haven’t implemented it yet.
So default DESC sorting works best for now.
If you vote on Uservoice though, it will get on public record, and others may vote for it!
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

Casey DMemberSorry flawlessvictory, I’m not sure I have a good answer for you. I can definitely see how you the ordering would help.
I’ll talk with the devs to see if there was an intention to this. Otherwise, you may be able to use this plugin to arrange how you like. There may be another if that doesn’t work.
