    Hey John,

    I checked the css code again, but updated them with !important to force them into action. I’m using Chrome on Mac OSX, and they are working for me alright. Also works on Firefox.

    Table: http://glui.me/?i=e8h7yuh0voajj0n/2014-04-23_at_12.18_PM.png/

    Responsive single event: http://glui.me/?i=1agnf150ml0ns2e/2014-04-22_at_1.49_PM.png/

    What browser and operating system are you using? I’d personally like to test more on IE, but there are so many versions and scenarios, and that is getting more into troubleshooting for customization, which is beyond the useful scope of these forums.

    I completely appreciate your concerns with the clean up plugin. If it helps, we announced it in our release notes after working with several users to fix the issue. For most users with that duplication bug, it has fixed the problem right away. After talking to the rest of the support team, we’re not aware of any major issues reported with the latest version of the cleanup utility.

    Of course, please make a backup of your site before installing the clean up plugin, as results may vary out in the wild.

    I’m hoping I can help get this cleaned up for you soon! Let me know if these solutions still don’t work.

    Hello vancouverfamily,

    Sorry that didn’t fix it!

    Would you mind if I installed and activated the debug bar plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/debug-bar/

    It would also be great if you could add this line to your wp-config.php file.

    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

    Hello billashton,

    Sorry for the problems you are experiencing and thanks for reaching out to us! This is an interesting situation that has been with us for a while. If you check the forums, you’ll see many people with the same issue. It’s a difficult bug to recreate and we believe it depends on a quirk in Facebook’s API, but I see the problem on your site.

    http://jeeperzwtf.com/livemusic/past/?action=tribe_list&tribe_paged=1

    Could you more exactly describe you’re situation? From what it sounds like you are using the auto import feature. Does it only apply to events imported from Facebook, for instance, and do they show up in the Facebook Import screen as having been successfully imported already if so?

    For now, you can try setting the auto import feature to “Daily” or “Weekly”. That might limit the amount of duplicates.

    Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

    Thanks for getting back to us so quickly!

    We are very familiar with this problem. We had a bug in our 3.5 Pro update and it cause some db issues.

    We recommend upgrading The Events Calendar Pro to 3.5.2. Here are the notes on the release with a fuller explanation:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/release-events-calendar-pro-3-5-2-hotfix/

    If you install this plugin it will fix the db problem and fix your widgets:

    It should be relatively painless. Sorry you are experiencing this! Let me know if that doesn’t work for you!

    Hello jebs38!

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry you’re experiencing this! 🙁

    I did some tinkering and I think I found some solutions:

    1. Table sizing –

    I’m not sure why the table isn’t work but I added this css and that seems to make the calendar fit within the container. Not sure why that is! Maybe it’s a theme conflict.

    table.tribe-events-calendar { display: inherit !important; }

    2. Recurring Events –

    We had a bug when users with smaller systems upgraded to The Events Calendar Pro 3.5. The database on smaller systems wasn’t able to upgrade all the way, because of a slow query in our code.

    We made a plugin to remove duplicate queries. Could you give this plugin a try and see if it cleans up your duplicates?

    3. Single page styling –

    I believe this is a bug in our code, but I think if you add this line it should shrink to the size of the browser. It worked on mine, let me know if it works on yours!

    .tribe-mobile #main { width: 100% !important; }

    Does this make sense? Let me know if these solutions don’t work for you!

    Cheers!

    Hello aalmon,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    Typically customizations are beyond the scope of the support forums. You can usually find good styling direction in the tutorials or our Themer’s Guide.

    That said, this should be a fast fix and I can give you a quick pointer this one time.

    Is this what you are trying to tweak?

    2014-04-22 at 11.43 AM

    If you add the css below, you should get something similar. By tweaking the css you can move the icons around. It will take some technical know-how, but should be relatively easy to tweak!

    .tribe-bar-views-list span[class^="tribe-icon-"],
    .tribe-bar-view-list a[class*="tribe-icon-"] {
    padding-right: 24px;
    background-position: right 50% !important;
    }

    .tribe-select2-results-views span.tribe-icon-map,
    .tribe-bar-views-list span.tribe-icon-map {
    background-position: right 50% !important;
    }

    Does this make sense? Hope this helps!

    Hello larafarwell,

    Congrats on upgrading! Once we get this sorted out I’m sure you’ll love it. 😀

    Sorry you’re experiencing this right from the start! A few things could be at play here.

    First, it might be helpful to check out our primers. They’re quick videos that will bring you up to speed quickly. Especially this recurring events video; it might have the answers you’re looking for.

    Other than that, could I get some more details? It will help if I can reproduce the problem from this end.

    Are you able to enter the information ok? If you are, does it just not show up? Here is a screenshot on my machine of a single event recurring 5 times

    It would help to get some more info too. Could I get the answer to these questions?

    • What theme are you using?
    • Could I could a list of installed/activated plugins?
    • Are you using latest versions, The Events Calendar 3.5.1 and The Events Calendar Pro 3.5.2?

    Does this make sense? I’m sure we can get you up and running soon!

    Cheers!

    Hello rbcheeseco,

    Thanks a ton for posting this to the forums. We find the forum enables us to serve our customers more efficiently and to a higher quality than email.

    I think you might have two issues here.

    First, for the 404 issue, can you manually flush your permalinks? If you resave your permalinks, the events should appear.

    Second, you bought the right product! The ticket information, including price, are added on the event edit page. I think if you take a quick look at our WooCommerce Primers page, you get a good sense of the workflow. The second video will answer you question the best I think.

    Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you!

    Cheers!

    Hello peterhanson,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    This seems very possible, but unfortunately it isn’t a feature we have yet. Unfortunately I’m unable to take the time to create that customization on the forums. 🙁

    But if you check our Themer’s Guide, you may be able to create your own solution.

    Also, if you submit a request to our User Voice, you may find other users who want the same thing! We take our user feedback very seriously, so if you vote there, you may find this feature in a future release!

    Cheers!

    Hi cslinfotech, thanks for reaching out!

    I did some quick homework, as I was uncertain with the plugin and this problem.

    I was only able to find related support posts, but the plugin itself seems to be gone. 🙁

    Since the plugin is old/nonexistent, I’m not sure we can offer a specific patch concerning that plugin.

    But since you might have tripped a bigger issue (and you put so much effort into it), I’d like to notify our devs to see if there is something they can do.

    Can you get us a zip of the plugin? Emailing it to [email protected] will work out well.

    Thanks a ton!

    There very well could be, but these things can get complicated quickly. I’ll see what I can do!

    What is the name of your theme, and do you have a public link I can see?

    Thanks!

    Hi Larry, thanks for reaching out!

    This seems peculiar.Best I can guess, is that the admin with the missing events has some sort of filter set. The filters are easy to overlook, especially if the meta box is collapsed.

    On the Events management page, can you have that admin click the “Clear” button in the filter box? It will help if you then go to the dashboard and then come back, as that will surely clear any GET params in the URL.

    Hello vancouverfamily,

    Thanks for reaching out! I’ll be happy to help.

    It seems like a possible theme/plugin conflict is likely.

    • Is it all widgets or just The Events Calendar related widgets?
    • Could I get a screenshot of the widgets page? Depending on how the page loads could reflect what the error is.
    • What theme are you using? Seems like a StudioPress theme?
    • Is this the debug plugin you are using? https://wordpress.org/plugins/debug-bar/ I’ve never used it but it might be helpful.

    If you like, you can send us account information for a second admin account in a private reply. I don’t think it will be necessary, but may be helpful!

    If you can get back to me on this stuff I can get you back up and running!

    Cheers!
