    Hello infoasocialstandard,

When you install a new plugin like WooCommerce Tickets, you may need to “flush permalinks,” by resaving your permalinks in the Settings > Permalinks admin page.

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

    Hello lblnra,

Thanks for contacting us, sorry for the frustration!

I believe this is a bug in our code. I have recreated it on my local instance and will be sending in a ticket for developer review.

In the mean time, I will see if I can find a work around.

In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?

    Hello jokesonme,

Here’s a tutorial that might help you with your customization https://theeventscalendar.com/queries-and-pagination/

What you want to do might be accomplished using the Filterbar and special urls, but I’m not sure if you would be able to hide the other filters appropriately. Maybe if you used css to hide the ‘category’ filter on certain pages, and that way the calendar would appear to be more specialized?

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

    Hello charrame,

Thanks for contacting us! There may be some information lost in translation, but I believe I understand you correctly.

Depending on you theme, I think you can get the slider to appear by changing the template on the Event Settings > Display page in WP-Admin. If you change it to ‘Default Page Template’ or something similar I *think* the slider will appear, but I’m not sure.

I’m not sure why the border is showing on the blog menu item, that should be out of the realm of our plugin though. Did you add a class to the link in the menu?

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Hello hsale,

These arrows you are referring to are controlled by the browser, there is nothing we can do for that unfortunately.

By default though, our WooCommerce plugin ships with up and down buttons on the ticket fields.

I don’t see them in your mark up though. Are you using a template override or did you intentionally remove them?

    Hello benrich,

Is this a WooCommerce Tickets question? I want to make sure I’m not missing anything!

From what I can tell, the events are in the proper order: All Day events first, then descending by starting time. At the very end there is a multi-day event.

So they are in order, just backwards than you may be expecting.

Is there a custom template override you are using?

Also, are you on the latest version? Here is a similar thread that sorted itself out by upgrading to the latest release. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/upcoming-past-events-out-of-order/

I’ll check with the devs to see if there is a filter for properly ordering the events.

    Cheers!

    Hello barn2media,

If I understand correctly, you’re trying to display the ticket price on the listings page. It is removed once you add the WooCommerce Tickets plugin.

This tutorial should walk you through the code needed to add that price box back. https://theeventscalendar.com/filtering-tec-to-show-prices-from-woocommerce-tickets/

We intentionally remove that functionality with the plugin. There is only one possible price without the plugin, but with the plugin there can be several. Knowing what price to display is not trivial (Should it be a range? The highest? The lowest?) so we remove it.

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Hello philmacaulay,

Thanks for your patience and sorry for the delay!

This is by design, as tickets are inherently tied to events.

I did find this tutorial that I haven’t tried before. With a little elbow grease it looks like you should be able to create a customization to accomplish what you are looking for.

    Hello framegirona,

Thanks for contacting us! An irregular system for sure!

I believe this configuration will get you what you want, as long as the hours are identical.

    Hello Roger,

    1. I’m not entirely sure we can easily do that pattern as a ‘recurring event’. For us, ‘recurring event’ means (typically) a pattern that repeats of a given date/time. We can handle some sophisticated patterns, but I don’t know if 2-days + 3-days is one of them. From reading your question though I think you may have a typo. We would be able to do 3-days + 3-days, 5/30-6/1 + 6/6 + 6/8. The times would have to be identical though.

And it would appear like this:

All events for Tribe Sample Hour Events Plugin

    2. If I understand correctly, yes, you can easily have a repeating day of the week. An event every Tuesday night, for example.

    3. It really depends on the size, scope and display of the events, along with the aesthetic tastes of the site. Pro has a ‘Day’ view that will probably help with this, but this view was just recently added to Core last week.

    4. Unfortunately, we only offer CSV import for general purpose import (You can use XML to import from another Events Calendar install). Pro doesn’t offer more functionality for imports.

    5. You should easily be able to do that configuration.

    6. The “Some College – Theater” is the best answer here, since those are literal venues. They typically have an address attached to each in real life (along with GPS coordinated), which is what our plugin reflects. Perhaps in the future we will have a ‘category’ available for the ‘Venue’ CPT to group them together by location.

    7. We don’t have a duplicate feature built into the plugin, but we have used Post Duplicator with success. Your mileage may vary of course https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-duplicator/

Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

    Cheers!

    Thanks for the info,

I took some time and talked to some members of the dev team and we weren’t able to find any conflicts.

Unfortunately the level of customization you are employing goes beyond the scope of the forums.

We recommend though that you try to isolate the problem, we believe it is from your custom theme. The problem may stem from the other ‘event’ cpt you are declaring in assets/cpt/events.php, but perhaps not.

Ultimately there is just too much customization here for us to properly assist you.

Sorry for the opaque answer and goodluck!

    Hello mhsieh,

Hey it’s fixed! At least from what I can tell. Did you try something different? Maybe it was a caching issue?

    Hello troull88,

Thanks for hanging in there. I looked into this some more and it appears to be a bug with our plugin. I’m not sure there is a work around for now (besides removing it as you did with CSS), but I will update this thread once we figure out a solution or another work around.

From what I can tell after some testing, that link only shows up if the event you are currently on is a recurring event. But for some reason it attaches itself to those events. So the best work around might still be the CSS hide.

I will still update this tread once we release a solution though.

    Cheers!

    Hello jareddegnan,

Sorry I missed that! I should have looked closer there.

It looks like the two strings are flipping. I’ll ask a dev, but I’m fairly confident this is a problem with the theme. (don’t want to pass blame though, I’ll ask a dev to see if there is a fix)
