    Hello,

I’m wondering if you can help with what seems like may be a bug in the script. I’m using your Calendar Pro and WooTickets plugin together and have over 200 events added to the website.

I have also the associated tickets for each event set up and working. Everything seems to work well and if you take a look at my example URL you’ll see 5 events listed on the page. When you click on each of the events and go into the individual pages you’ll be able to purchase tickets at the correct cost, etc.

The problem is with the top two events on the event listings page. Notice the price field is no longer there.

This is because I have recently updated these two events. The first one I added a description and the second one I simply saved it again but made no changes.

For some reason, the price disappears and on investigation it seems like every time I save an event the “_EventCost” meta data is lost.

The tickets are still configured in full on these two events though so I’m wondering why this data is being lost.

I’m assuming the way this works is that the plugin takes the price of the “Ticket” (WooCommerce product) and applies it to the “_EventCost” meta data. So I think this data is only superficial for displaying prices associated with the event easily.

Is this a known bug and something that can be fixed?

    Regards,
    Steven

    Hello barn2media,

If I understand correctly, you’re trying to display the ticket price on the listings page. It is removed once you add the WooCommerce Tickets plugin.

This tutorial should walk you through the code needed to add that price box back. https://theeventscalendar.com/filtering-tec-to-show-prices-from-woocommerce-tickets/

We intentionally remove that functionality with the plugin. There is only one possible price without the plugin, but with the plugin there can be several. Knowing what price to display is not trivial (Should it be a range? The highest? The lowest?) so we remove it.

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

Happy it worked out! It looks like you marked this as resolved.

We’d love it if you would leave us a review and let people know how much you like the plugin! http://m.tri.be/jt

I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Let us know if we can help with anything else.

    Cheers!

    Casey
